How to cut and sew a corset

Cut and sewing such a corset is not difficult even for novice tailors.

Since the corset, according to the rules, should be with "bones", it is made double. Instead of "bones" I recommend using regilin, as it is very easy to stitch on the lining.

Work should begin with cutting the lining bodice. To do this, you can use inexpensive fabric.

When cutting, do not add allowances along the armhole, but add 2 - 4 cm along the middle seam, since the fit of the product is carried out precisely along the middle seam of the back. The remaining seam allowances are 1,5 cm.

So, after cutting the lining bodice, stitch the regiline "bones" on its wrong side, having previously melted their ends.

Try on the bodice to determine the desired volume.

After that, you can cut the "upper" bodice from a more expensive fabric.

Then, it remains only to make a double sleeve and connect both bodices.
