There is an alternative to lace-up fittings. For example, you can take any narrow braid and make loops out of it.
They must be fixed on the edge of the product side, which is edged or trimmed.
If one of the boards has a gap, then the loops are first stitched to the gap, and only then, together with the gap to the board, and processed in the same way as a board without a gap.
For example: corset lacing without lining, the cut details of which are shown in Fig. 1.
Undercut parts for processing.
To cut the pick, circle the middle section of the shelf (if the lacing should be located along the center line of the shelf) or the middle part of the back (if the lacing is at the back) along the middle cut.
Extend the stroke line along the cuts of the top and bottom by 4 - 6 cm.
Draw a free (unsecured) edge of the pick-up with a concave curved line.
Rule: trimming of parts should be done not according to patterns, but according to already cut out parts, since they already take into account seam allowances. The edge of the bead does not have an allowance, but is cut out beyond the stroke line, which actually constitutes an allowance. 0,2 - 0,3 cm.
Shared selection should be located along the part.
The valance for the corset can be made from both main and contrasting fabric to emphasize the lacing.
It is a rectangle, the length of which is less than the length of the selection by 2 см, and the width is 8 - 10 cm. Shared thread - along the part.
Treatment.
Fold the valance piece in half and stitch the horizontal cuts, then turn inside out and iron. Overcast the edge of the valance with free cuts and free cuts of the headboards.
The manufacture of loops from braid is shown in fig. 2, but you can grind a steering wheel or take a cord.
Fasten on both middle parts of the shelves or back loops for lacing (Fig. 3 a).
In this case, the length of the fastened loop must exceed the desired length of the loop in finished form by 0,7 - 1 cm. Lay the loops should be on the front side.
After that, you should connect the parts with loops and pick up in a turning way (Fig. 3 b): fold face to face, grind, turn out, iron.
Place a gap under the starboard side (shelves or backs) and lay a connecting line (Fig. 3 c).
