How to cut palazzo pants in large and small sizes.
Before cutting, you should adjust the length of the trousers by placing a fold at the knee area or cutting and spreading the pattern in the same place.
If an adjustment is made, then the length and side seam of the flying part should also be adjusted.
In fact, cutting is no different from cutting other trousers - the lobe coincides with the ironing line; allowances - 1 cm on the sides and steps, bottom - 2,5–4 cm (depending on processing), do not add at the waist, 0,7–1 cm at the entrance to the pocket.
Along the bow there is an allowance for the zipper fastener and along the seat there is an allowance with a margin, expanding to 3-4 cm, which will allow you to perform a high-quality fitting.
It is easier to cut out the belt in one long strip so that you can later cut it into the required fragments. We will need a belt for the flying part and a belt for the two halves of the trousers - the right and left legs (see dress pants treatment).
An important point about cutting pockets (Figure 2 и 3). Please note that the corner for the pocket is cut off only on the flyaway part. That is, pockets will be processed on the flyaway part and on the PP, which is not covered by the flyaway part. For the second pocket, the corner can be cut off later.
The width of the belt, as usual, is calculated by the formula
2 finished belt widths + 2 cm
On the Fig. 2 Shown is the cutting of trousers in small sizes.
On the Fig. 3 - cutting large sizes and some explanations are needed here.
The fabric is folded in half crosswise. It is important to remember here that there is only one flying part.
After cutting, we make notches along the knee level, along the darts and bow.
