• back patterns - middle part and side;
• shelf patterns - also the middle part and barrels.

Suitable for tailoring almost any lace fabric, except stretch:

1. The most suitable can be considered the so-called "heavy guipure" with a border around the edges, for example, Korean production.
2. Macrame guipure is also good, 130 cm wide.
3. Less suitable are "Italian lace" - lace fabric 150 cm wide, "Chantilly lace" - 90 - 140 cm with a border and all kinds of embroidery on the "grids", since they are all less stable.

Attention! guipure with asymmetrical rapport on the border!

As you can see, the width of the lace fabrics is different and, what is also very important, each fabric has a different rapport width, that is, a different size of the lace elements that make up the fabric.

The consumption of guipure with a small repeat without an edge and a width of 140 cm and fabric for the "cover" will be 115 - 130 cm for different sizes.

And the consumption of guipure with a large rapport and a lace border can only be determined by laying out blouse patterns on it.

How to sew this blouse with your own hands

When the patterns are ready and the fabric is purchased, we determine the technology for sewing the product:

1. Similar models can be sewn both on a lining ("cover"), and without it.
2. In any case, the lining and facings, if any are provided for by processing (Fig. 2), are cut out according to the same pattern as the blouse.
3. But, in this case, translucent guipure does not allow to process the neckline-armholes with facings, as we did in other products.
4. Therefore, if you are a novice couturier, stop at the option with a lining.
5. Seam allowances: 1,5 - 2 cm for medium, reliefs and side; armholes, neck, sprout, bottom - WITHOUT SUPPLY.
6. The layout of patterns on a lace fabric with a wide border (Fig. 3) is contrary to the rules of cutting from ordinary fabrics.
7. Guipure with a large repeat and / or border should not be folded in half.
8. And in this case, the bottom of the details should coincide with the "scallops" of the edge.
9. Pay attention to the fact that the lower points of the middle seams of the back and front are located at the lowest middle points of the border repeat.
10. The lower points of the reliefs must also be on the same points in the drawing.
11. In this case, it is impossible to exclude the need to correct the position of the lower section of the side seam - in fig. 3, the correction is marked in green so that when sewing, the lower points of the seam line up nicely.
12. We cut guipure without a border and with a small rapport like ordinary fabrics (Fig. 4).
13. It is easier to cut the lining (cover) according to the guipure details of the product, and not according to patterns.
14. Then, guipure details should be basted with large oblique stitches on the lining details, departing from the edge of the detail 3-4 cm.
15. Stitch length - 4 - 5 cm.
16. Only the bottom is not outlined.
17. On the bottom of the lining, mark the bottom line so that on all the details of the product the bottom of the “cover” runs on the same lace motif.
18. After that, the bottom of the “cover” (lining) is processed into a hem or in any other way convenient for you.
19. The seams are ground, while most of the middle seam of the back is swept under the "zipper".
20. Ironing the seams is also a mandatory operation and should be performed carefully.
21. Once the seams are ironed, all open seams, including the neckline and armholes, can be edged or handle the bias tape differently - in a twisted way.
22. If you settled on edging, then edging without devices will be more suitable for “heavy guipure”, since differences in thickness will not allow you to perform the operation efficiently.
