How to sew a baby coat

When cutting a fur coat, you should pay attention to the rules for working with artificial fur:

1. Rule one: the direction of the pile on all the details of the cut should be the same. In the vast majority of cases, the pile should be placed down.
2. Rule two: when cutting out details, start the scissors blade only behind the woven base of the material, trying not to cut the fur fibers.
3. Rule three: also suitable for most faux fur products - the pick-up should be one-piece with a shelf.

After cutting the details of the “top” made of faux fur, you will have to cut the lining.

The lining should be cut according to the same patterns as the fur. But first you need to cut off the edge from the shelf pattern, and the facing from the hood pattern. Look at the drawing with a gradation of sizes - the pattern for the selection is placed specially on the shelf, and the facing for the hood is on the hood.

I must say that not every warming pad is suitable for a children's faux fur coat. So the synthetic winterizer does not fit - it simply collapses under the weight of the fur coat and loses its heat-insulating properties.

Well suited natural batting. It's natural! It is lightweight and quite warm. Relatively new are sherecon and holofiber. They also performed well.

But it must be borne in mind that faux fur is blown by the wind and therefore, in addition to a warming pad, a windproof pad is desirable. As such a gasket, ordinary calico is well suited.
