The entire range of sizes from 40 to 54 is printed in full size from one PDF file of the pattern. Printing is possible both on a home printer on A4 sheets, and on a plotter on sheets of A0 - A3 paper.

The pattern of the dress was made according to the numerous requests of the group members. "Cut, sew, free and paid patterns" ,

photos of dresses are provided by its participants and are not the intellectual property of the owners of this site.

The Tatyanka dress model can be sewn in three versions: with a narrow sleeve and a clasp at the back (Photo 1), with a narrow sleeve and a stand-up collar (Photo 2), and with a sleeve with an assembly at the bottom (the top photo).

Consumption make upm: bodice length + skirt length + sleeve length.

Sleeve patterns (two included) can be used to cut long, short and 3/4 length sleeves.

For sewing, you can use chintz, linen, jacquard, thick silk, dress wool and, of course, dense, but not too thick knitwear (stretch) of low extensibility.

The set of patterns includes (picture 1): a back, a shelf and a pick, a sleeve with an assembly at the bottom and a sleeve narrowed to the bottom, a stand-up collar.

The skirt "Tatyanka" is a gathered strip of fabric, therefore it is not included in the set of patterns.

Cuff - a rectangle, the dimensions of which are equal:

width = shiRine cuff in finished form + 2 cm,

height= dwar height finished cuff+2cm.

How to cut a dress

Before cutting, check the length of the sleeve and the length of the skirt.

Let's start with the dress, which has a gathered sleeve at the bottom.

Fold the fabric in half, right side up, matching the edges (picture 2).

Lay the patterns of the back, shelves and sleeves.

Please note that the sleeve can be cut out both along the shared thread and along the oblique.

The skirt is cut to the full width of the fabric. Cuffs - a rectangle, the sizes are higher.

Pay attention to the seam allowances: shoulder-side seams of the front-back, front-back seams of the sleeve - 1 - 1,5 cm;

sprout-neck and sleeve hem - WITHOUT ALLOWANCES - otherwise the length of the sections will become shorter.

We add 3 cm at the waist - such a large allowance can be useful for tall girls to lengthen the bodice when trying on,

and also save the dress in case of shrinkage after washing.

The allowance along the middle seam of the back is uneven, since the back is not laid to the edges with the middle seam,

and the middle line (the line is a straight line, the seam is a curve).

Cutting the dress shown in photo 1 is practically the same as the previous one (picture 3).

And for both models, you may need facings to process the neck.

It is better to cut out facings after trying on, since during the fitting you can change the neckline.

Now about cutting a dress with a clasp - Photo 2.

It makes no sense to cut a cutting bar and complicate your life if you are just a novice couturier.

Therefore, let's open it up a bit (picture 4).

Pay attention to the fact that the pick-up is cut out in one piece with a shelf and the share thread is located along the line of the half-skid.

In other words, the half-skid line is strictly parallel to the edges and fold of the fabric.

For selection, we cut out dubbing without seam allowances, exactly according to the pattern.

It is better to cut out the collar after trying it on, when you process the shoulder seams and make sure that the shape of the neck suits you.

Don't forget to duplicate the bottom collar.

When sewing this style, you will have one more question - the question of the fastener.

That is, either the dress will be wide enough at the waist so that you can put it on, or you will also have to sew on a “zipper”.

If you chose a dress without a zipper, you will not need darts and you will have to ignore them by making the bodice on the assembly, like a skirt.

But in this case, you will have to purchase a wide belt.

The sewing sequence for all three models of dresses with a Tatyanka skirt is the same: we assemble the bodice; try on;

we process the neck or collar and sides; we process the sleeve and we knit it;

we collect the skirt and tie it to the bodice;

we do one more fitting and finish with the processing of the armhole and bottom.
