The set of patterns for a cut-off “Christmas tree” dress includes (Fig. 1):

Before cutting, pay attention to the location of the equity threads and details. On the right shelf of the bodice and the right PP, the share direction is approximate - you can turn it a couple of degrees.

The share bodice of the back and the RFP of the skirt are along the midline, in other words, perpendicular to the waist line.

The main thing is that the pile is located on all the details up. Otherwise, it will not be possible to wear a dress with outerwear - it will rise up (Fig. 1).

The seam allowances are as follows: shoulder, side seams and the middle seam of the back, as well as the front and back seams of the sleeve, the tuck seams on the left front and the bottom of the PP skirt - 1 - 1,2 cm. On the bottom of the RFP and the bottom of the bodice - 3 - 3,5, XNUMX cm. No allowances are added to the rest of the cuts.

The patterns are laid out on the fabric (Fig. 2). Please note that the fabric should be laid out in a turn - in one layer, since asymmetric parts - the right and left shelves, the right and left PP skirts - are cut out in a single copy. The bodice of the back, the RFP of the skirt and the sleeve are paired, we cut out two parts each.

Why do you need an allowance for the bottom of the bodice? For fitting, but first I note the warehouses and tucks.

For fitting, we collect separately the bodice, separately the skirt and separately the sleeves.

When assembling the bodice, pay attention to the fact that the "departure" of the right half of the shelf should be inside the waist tuck of the left shelf. Accordingly, the “departure” of the left shelf is attached to the tuck of the right shelf from the inside.

Lightning can be done or not done - decide on the fitting. The side seam is better for fastening.

Dress fitting is performed in the following sequence:

1. First, try on the bodice, tie it with a linen elastic band to check the balance and position of the waist. We outline the waist with threads - other marks on the velvet are not saved.
2. Then, we tack the skirt to the bodice, combining the half-skid, the first and second warehouses. The third warehouse, which is only on the skirt, does not need to be combined with a tuck.
3. At the end of the fitting, we outline the control points for tucking in the sleeves and proceed to sewing.

The sewing sequence repeats the fitting process.

We collect the bodice, iron it on a card tape or on a wide velcro tape (Velcro tape) with hooks. We collect the skirt, iron it. We connect the bodice with the skirt, we knit and stitch the sleeves.
