This is one of the easiest ways to sew a wide belt.
You will need:
black lace 10 - 20 cm wide, length From+10 cm;
regilin 1,5 cm wide to match the color of lace - at least 1 meter;
braid for fastening;
rubber thread in the color of lace.

Algorithm for performing work on sewing a belt
Wind the rubber thread around the bobbin, thread as usual. Lay a few lines along the front side of the lace (see Fig. 1).
The distance between the lines is 1 - 1,5 cm.
For convenience, first we lay lines along the edges, then in the middle and again along the middle lines of the gaps.
Begin and end each line with a bartack.
The next operation is the preparation of regilin.
Cut the regilin tape into equal lengths.
The length of the "bone" is determined by the width of the lace to the scallops.
The sections of each "bone" must be melted with a lighter.
The “bones” prepared in this way are stitched on the wrong side of the lace (Fig. 2).
At the same time, the extreme ones are first adjusted (with an indent from the edge of 1,5 cm for adjusting and attaching the fastener), then the middle one and, finally, the middle ones in each gap.
The distance between the "bones" should be from 5 to 10 cm, depending on the size of the belt.
The last operation is attaching the fastener braid.
The most comfortable to wear is the “hook-and-loop” linen braid (this is used for bras - see photo on the right).
