Unfortunately, many people, especially those who know the so-called try-on cutting techniques, mistakenly believe that trying on is only necessary to fit the product on the figure.

But actually, fitting is a creative process that allows you to make bold adjustments to the product.

If we need an ordinary boring cutout in the shape of the letter “ve”, then we can make it when cutting, setting aside a measure of the depth of the neck along the half-slide of the pattern.

But, if we need the deepest neckline in front or behind, it is better to make it on the fitting.

Buyers of patterns are also forced to resort to fitting in order to clarify the degree of fit and, of course, the shape of the neckline.

Let me delay you a little more and tell you how to prepare the bodice of the dress for the fitting (I am sewing an edgy new-look cut-off at the waist with a sun skirt).

Sweep or, as I immediately sew the seams of the bodice, with the exception of the one that will be processed with a "lightning". Overcast the cuts and iron them in accordance with the processing method you have chosen. If necessary, make a small cut along the half-skid so that the bodice can be put on.

Having put on the bodice on the customer, mark the bottom and side borders of the neckline, taking into account the contours of the bra. Draw the shape of the neckline and the sprout on one side of the figure. For example, on the left.

Remove the bodice and fold it in half as shown in the video tutorial.

Cut the neckline along the marked line. Immediately place dubbing under the neck and cut out the facing.
