Let's start with the choice of processing for the armholes and the neck.

Please note that such an armhole should not be processed with a solid facing.

Better in parts.

Part of the armhole, coinciding with the relief line of the middle details of the bodice, can be processed both into a hem with an open cut (overcast and fold), and edged or overcast with an oblique trim.

Options for trimming the facings according to the details of the bodice are shown in 2 drawing.

But in any case, the facings are cut out exactly according to the patterns from dublerin or interlining, and allowances for the seams are added after gluing these blanks from dubbing.

Before you start cutting, it is advisable to cut the facing blanks.

Consider separately seam allowances (picture 3).

For the details of the bodice, they will be 1 cm, except for the sections of the armhole of the barrel - we do not add allowances to them.

For a skirt: to the middle seam of the RFP of the skirt and to the side seams - 1 cm each, we do not add an allowance along the upper cut, but we make notches, limiting the folds that are shaded on the finished pattern.

On the bottom - 3 - 4 cm for a hem with a closed cut and with soft regilin or 2 - 3 cm for a hem with an open cut (single hem).

Cutting the dress is not difficult (picture 4) - the parts are stacked in the most economical way, but of course, in compliance with the shared direction.

The proportion of the details of the skirt and the back of the bodice is perpendicular to their lower cuts.

The share of the middle part of the bodice of the shelf passes along the half-slip (midline).

For the side of the bodice of the shelf - the share runs along the part, but great accuracy is not needed here.

Moreover, the barrel can generally be cut obliquely if the dress is made of plaid or striped fabric.

We lay blanks of facings from dubbing arbitrarily on free lunges of fabric, taking into account allowances, burlap - too.
