Patterns of women's trousers are so diverse that it is an impossible task to make them for each style. Therefore, we continue to learn how to cut women's trousers in a patternless way, that is, immediately on the fabric.
In this video tutorial - the back half.
If you need a pattern for shorts, then take this opportunity - after cutting, by applying a plastic film, circle your trousers to the length you need.
But back to the technique of cutting the RFP ...
Opening the front of the trousers is shown here.

We lay the front half on the rest of the fabric and cut the back half along it.
We will need the horizontal lines and the top of the seat angle, which are already on the front half.
We retreat one centimeter at the level of the knee and along the bottom, we display the beginning of our back half.
Pay attention to how I place the front half on the rest of the fabric: the side points on the hips of the front and back half do not match, more precisely, the distance between them, depending on the volume of the hips, is 3-5 cm
We find the femoral point and make a deflection of up to 1 centimeter in the area from the knee to the hips.
The step width in many cases does not fit the width of the fabric, therefore, if necessary, we enclose a sheet of paper, having previously drawn a double seam allowance on it.
To design a step cut, we divide the area from the seat level to the knee into three parts and draw a deflection.
Then we measure the sections of the step of the front and rear halves and equalize.
When cutting large sizes, please note that the length of the additional stitch should not be more than 18 centimeters.
Now set aside the width of the back half along the hip line. We connect the top of the seat angle and the femoral point and extend it up.
The bisector of the seat angle is 2 centimeters.
We raise the line of the hips for the back half along the cut of the seat by 3 - 4 centimeters.
We draw the cut smoothly.
We complete the design of the side seam and the seam of the seat and build tucks.
First, their middle lines, then we limit the tucks in length and mark the solution.
One-piece waistband of the same width as for the front half.
And we complete the drawing by adding allowances for the seams.
Attention! Patterns of men's trousers are structurally different from women's patterns, so do not try to cut trousers for men using these videos!
