2.1. Complete set of patterns of tactical military combat shirt raglan

What patterns are in the set of a military raglan shirt rice 1(picture 1)

  1. Shelf and Back - with some differences for different styles.
  2. Raglan sleeve with markings for short sleeves for sewing products with or without a gusset.
  3. Small details are the same for all style options - book pocket, elbow patch, tab and stand-up collar.

2.2. Description of military raglan combat shirt design

This raglan design allows you to sew both a T-shirt made of any stretch fabric and a shirt made of fabric that does not stretch. A combination option with “stable” sleeves and a stretch shelf, back and gusset can be considered successful.

Before choosing the position (option) of the pattern, pay attention to the mark Pg - this is an increase in the chest. For a free silhouette, it is 10 cm, and for a conditionally semi-adjacent - 6 cm.

The pattern of a tactical shirt with a gusset has a Pg (increase on the chest) of 6 cm at hand. Mesh - good for ventilation and freedom of movement. Please note that the stretch gusset contributes to a better fit of the product on the figure.

It's importantWhen you receive a group of sizes of the selected pattern upon purchase, you can sew several T-shirts - shirts with varying degrees of fit from different fabric sets. It doesn't have to be camouflage.

3. What to sew tactical military combat raglan shirts from

Ready-made patterns of a tactical raglan shirt with a gusset photo 2For tailoring shirts - T-shirts, in addition to camouflage fabric and camouflage knitwear, you can use thin denim, shirting fabric and knitted knitted fabric.

It's importantThe pattern of a loose tactical military shirt can also be used for sewing ordinary raglan sweatshirts made of traditional footer and fleece.

For processing the neck, you can use cuff knitwear.

The cost for one men's shirt - military T-shirt will be:

  • ✅ camouflage with a width of 150 cm - 80-90 cm;
  • ✅ knitwear with a width of 150 cm or 185 cm - 80-90 cm;
  • ✅ if there is a gusset, then the jersey "mesh" flap is up to 35 by 40 cm.

When calculating the consumption for several products, it is better to perform a preliminary layout of the patterns on an imaginary segment before purchasing.

5. How to cut a tactical military raglan combat shirt according to a finished pattern

How to cut a military tactical raglan shirt figure 2Consider the cutting option for the style option shown on the picture - a combined military shirt with a semi-adjacent silhouette gusset.

Before cutting, it is advisable to measure the length of the sleeve and compare with the corresponding measurement taken from the figure. In this case, we measure from the side point of the neck through the shoulder point along the bent elbow to the wrist. Better if the sleeve is a little longer.

Opening is quite simple (picture 2), however, confusion with seam allowances can occur. The fabric is folded in half face inward, the edges are aligned.

The sleeve, as well as the top collar and other small details, are cut out of stable camouflage fabric.

Allowances are added to the collar and straps and will amount to 1 cm.

For the “book” pocket on the sleeve, the allowance is already added on the pattern, so that it is clear how to fold and iron this “book”. We do not add additional allowances.

Payment is optional.

The size of the cuff is as follows (although you can get by with a strap WITHOUT a cuff):

Cut-to-length cuff width = 2 finished widths + 2 cm

Cut-out cuff length = Wrist girth + 2 cm (this is the case if the cuffs are fastened with Velcro on the strap and the edges of the cuff turn out to be butt, for a regular cuff we add another 4-5 cm)

We add an allowance to the sleeve only along the bottom, if you need to adjust the length of the sleeve, based on the fact that it will take 1 cm to process and do not forget.

We cut out the back, shelf and lower collar from knitwear. If there is no mesh for the gusset, then it can be cut from the same knitwear.

It's importantPay attention to how you need to fold the fabric when cutting - the shelf and back should be seamless. First, the fabric from the side of the edge is folded along the width of the shelf, from the side of the second edge - along the width of the back.

Since only one collar (lower) is needed, the detail should be one. We cut out the gusset from the lunge between the back and the shelf.

The back, front and gusset are cut out without seam allowances.

And the lower collar should be cut out according to the details of the upper collar.

Attention!Attention! If you need a knitted edging, as in the photo, then we cut out the upper collar WITHOUT an allowance along the upper cut, and the lower one with an allowance of 1,2 - 1,5 cm.

After cutting, do not forget to put the notches indicated in the drawings.

6. How to sew a T-shirt - a raglan shirt at home

Pattern of a tactical military combat shirt raglan semi-linear photo 3We start by setting up an overlock for a knitted seam (all links above).

  1. First you need to process the pockets and the patch, and you can also make the straps.
  2. Process lightning. The simplest option is processing with turning. Stitch a narrow incision with a strip of fabric (first stitches, then cut), attach a zipper and stitch.
  3. Collect shirt.
  4. Process cuffs and collar.
  5. Stitch and stitch cuffs and collar.
  6. The bottom of the shirt.
