Seam allowances - 1 cm. The exception is the cut of the waist. Do NOT add allowances at the waist.

On the bottom for a hem with an open cut (overcast and fold once) - 2 cm, and for a hem with a closed cut (double hem) up to 3 cm, no more.

To the cuts of burlap for a cut-off barrel pocket, add 1 cm, but it is not necessary at the waist.

To the cuts of the burlap in the side seam - if desired, but you can not add it, any women's brush will fit in such a burlap.

As mentioned earlier, the belt is a strip of fabric, a rectangle.

Belt length = Waist length of trousers without seam allowances

Width of the belt in cutting = Double the width of the belt in finished form + 2 cm

Before cutting, the fabric is folded in half face inward, the edges are aligned and parallel to the edge of the cutting table. Patterns are laid out in accordance with the shared direction.

When cutting a barrel-type pocket, the PP pattern is bent along the pocket entry line, as shown in the figures. 2 и 4.

When PP and ZP are cut out, burlap and a belt are cut out.

You should also pay attention to the fact that the pattern on the valance burlap clearly matches the pattern of the PP.

Now about cutting pile fabrics - velveteen, velor and velvet (picture 3).

On all details, the pile must be located up, otherwise, the trousers will ride up under the clothes.

After cutting, make notches at the level of the knee, at the entrance to the pocket and along the border of the soft fold.

How to sew trousers with an elastic band step by step for beginners

1. Notice a soft crease on the PP, iron a little.
2. Duplicate the entrance to the pocket from the inside of the PP with a 1 cm doublerin share strip or a special edge so that it does not stretch.
3. Stitch burlap-turning at the entrance to the pocket, iron the seam with piping, stitch with a finishing line.
4. Place a burlap-valve under the PP, aligning the pocket entry line with the pocket entry, perform backtacks.
5. Sew and overcast or edging the burlap of the pocket. Iron the pocket.
6. Overcast or edge over the side and step sections, as well as the section of the bow and seat.
7. Stitch and iron the side and crotch seams.
8. Stitch and iron the seam of the seat bow.
9. Iron the blank of the belt along and compare its length with the length of the waist section of the trousers.
10. Sew the belt "into the ring", leaving "passes" in the seam under the elastic band. Iron out the seam.
11. Run elastic stitches on the waistband.
12. Sew on the belt, overcast or turn over the sewing seam.
13. Screw in the rubber band.
14. Process the bottom.
