I sewed a winter jacket with a filler according to a pattern of large sizes

Olga Zinovieva shared a description of the sewing experience and a photo of a sewn jacket according to the pattern:

"I sewed a jacket according to this pattern. The pattern is successful, you just need to choose the right size according to the filler and its thickness. I had to reduce it. As a result, this is what happened. The shoulders in the pattern are very wide (the shoulder seam itself), but this is not a problem (it is place), I saw this remark in the description of other masters who sewed according to this pattern. As a basis, the pattern is 4.5 out of 5. "

In her description of the sewing experience for this pattern, Olga correctly noted that the armhole should be cut to fit and this should be done on the shoulder pads.

These are STANDARD steps in custom tailoring.

The "broad shoulders" in this pattern are deliberately designed by me. The goal is an attempt to take into account all possible body types. First of all, this applies to large sizes. In products for overweight people with full arms, for people with sloping shoulders, shoulders that reach the shoulder point look bad. And if there is also a trapeze-style jacket, then the person will look like a bunch. The pattern is intended for individual tailoring and involves at least one fitting and adjustment of the armhole according to the figure.
