2.1. Complete set of patterns for a unisex bomber jacket
- Back.
- The whole shelf is a template for assembly.
- The details of the shelf are the lower part, the right upper part and the left upper part.
- Non-stop sleeve.
- Pocket details - bottom burlap, burlap top 1, convex burlap top 2.
Cuffs are not included, as they are rectangles from dovyaz. Below is how to calculate the cuff size.
2.2. Description of the design of the sweatshirt pattern with a hood
The sweatshirt is designed on a straight basis of large volume (Pg = 10) without darts.
This warp is considered traditional for sewing sweatshirts, bomber jackets and loose-fitting sports jackets.
The style has an asymmetrical cut. The pocket is convex, imitating a waist bag for the phone.
2.3. What to sew a sweatshirt with a hood
Of course, the most obvious solution would be a footer, and for cuffs - cuff knitwear - “dovyaz”
The footer consumption will be 140 - 150 cm, with a width of 180 cm.
Dovyaz (cuff fabric) consumption - 25 - 40 cm with a width of 110 cm or with a "pipe" width of 50 cm, if you need "cuffs" along the bottom of the product or up to 20 cm. If you only need cuffs along the bottom of the sleeve, then 15 - 20 is enough cm.

4. How to cut a sweatshirt - unisex hoodies in large and small sizes according to a simple ready-made pattern
As you know, when cutting sweatshirts, no seam allowances are added.
The only exception will be pocket details - add 0,7 - 1 cm each.
Before cutting, we check the length of the sleeve of the pattern and adjust it if necessary. We check the length of the back and the whole shelf.
In addition, you should add an allowance for bending the sides - 4 - 5 cm (picture 2).
First, we perform cutting of paired parts - the back, sleeves and hood. For them, fold the fabric in half. Unpaired parts of the shelf and pocket are laid out on the “face” of the fabric:
- Lettering up - for women's version of the jacket.
- For male - lettering down.
The hood is best made double, but the lining can be made from thin knitwear, for example, from cooler fabric.
5. How to sew a non-stop sleeve hoodie at home
Let me remind you that we sew a sweatshirt mainly knitted stitch.
- We start by assembling the pocket - we grind the top on the overlock, grind the zipper, put it on the bottom burlap and grind them. The second strip of zipper tape is sewn to the burlap. It turns out "handbag".
- We sew the "handbag" into the recess at the bottom of the shelf.
- We overcast and iron the selection.
- We collect and iron the shelf.
- Assembling the hood.
- We grind the shoulder seams, laying the edge.
- We stitch the sleeve.
See how to sew a non-stop sleeve in a short video for beginners... - Stitch the side seams.
- We sew a hood.
- Cuffs, bottom.
