How to cut a sundress "Tatyanka"

To begin with, the bodice should sit tight, so choose the size carefully, as stated in sizing article, already after the purchase of the pattern. If you need a size smaller than the 42nd, just bend the middle part of the bodice half-skid by 1 - 1,5 cm.

Having dealt with the size, we proceed to the facings. Such bodices should be processed with facings, and you can cut them according to the product after trying on or according to the patterns before trying on.

We first cut out the facings from the doubler, folded in half with the adhesive side inward, circle the upper cut, then retreat from it the width of the facing 4–5 cm and display the departure cut of the facing (Fig. 2). Cut out WITHOUT seam allowances.

Fold the fabric in half face inward, match the edges and place them parallel to the edge of the table. Another question arises very often if we sew ourselves: where to make a zipper? In this case, you can only choose between the middle back seam and the left side seam.

"Lightning" in the middle seam at the back is preferable if the "tatyanka" is "one-way" and has one seam at the back. Hence, a "two stripe" skirt with two seams is a "zipper" in the side seam.
