Tatyanka skirts have already taken their rightful place in our wardrobe as comfortable, fashionable and very easy to sew clothes.
But these wonderful skirts continue to inspire fashion designers of various levels to develop new spectacular models.
In this article, we will look at the patternless cutting of several simple skirts for beginners based on "Tatyanka" and "sun" with a difference in length.
Why are these styles of skirts without patterns? ..
Believe me, patterns in this case will only make it difficult to cut! ..
Open skirts with a difference in length without a pattern
In photo 1 we see a "Tatyanka" with a difference in length.
Consumption should be calculated for the longer length.
For cutting, fold the fabric in half, aligning the edges (Fig. 1).
Be sure to face inward.
The angle between the edges and the transverse cut of the fabric must be strictly straight - 90 degrees, as well as the angle between the transverse cut and the semi-skid (middle line in front) of the product.
If these two corners are not straight, trim them.
Tailors refer to this process as shaping.
Measure n
about the edges of a large Di (length of the skirt), and along the fold (half-skid) - a smaller length.
Connect the resulting points and draw a curve, keeping right angles at the beginning and end of this curve.
The belt is a strip of fabric.
Its width is:
Two waist widthssa ready-made + 2 cm
Belt Length = From + 6 cm
From is the waist circumference, and 6 cm is needed to process the transition part.
Cutting without a pattern of a maxi skirt
More puffy skirts (photo 2) will require more expense and will look better if they are as long as possible.
These maxi skirts can be worn on their own or as part of a dress.
The consumption of fabric in this case will be two transverse "bands" of fabric, that is
Du minimum + Du maximum + on the belt + on the processing of the bottom.
It is also easy to cut such a skirt (Fig. 2).
We fold the fabric in half, aligning the edges and, as usual, face inward.
Do not forget to start the fabric, as described at the beginning of the article.
According to the fold of the fabric - this will be a half-skid (the middle line of the PP skirt) - we measure the shorter length of the skirt.

Large length is from 110 to 130 cm, judging by photo 2.
Then, from the intended second point along the fold, we draw a horizontal line.
It should be strictly perpendicular to the fold of the fabric and the edges.
Side seams will be located along the edges.
They should be the same length and therefore, you should only divide the distance between the horizontal that you drew and the basic cut in half.
PP and ZP are cut along a concave line, while it is imperative to maintain right angles in the area adjacent to the fold of the fabric.
Open a fashionable skirt without a pattern
Let's move on to the skirt in photo 3.
This skirt is also more convenient to cut without a pattern.
Its cutting is very similar to the cutting of the previous model (Fig. 3).
The skirt consists of two "stripes" laid in warehouses.

The difference in the style of the skirt in photo 3 is only that the side cuts are shorter than the middle cut of the RFP and the half-skid line along which the fold of the PP passes.
All of the above skirts are processed with a "traditional" belt.

The model of the skirt shown in photo 4 can be cut in different ways.
The first cutting option (Fig. 4): a quadrilateral skirt. One long side - oblique - is the bottom of the skirt. Waist cut - a cross section of the fabric.
Cutting
we produce in a turn from the inside out.
After basing one of the fabric sections, we measure the larger and smaller Du (length of the skirt) along the edges.
The second cutting option may seem difficult for a novice fashion designer.
It is suitable for those who have already mastered how to cut a sun skirt.
On fig. 5 shows the cut of the skirt, the length of which along the side seam does not exceed 50 - 55 cm, depending on the size of the skirt.
This is with a fabric width of 140 cm.
So, we start by folding the fabric in half, as described above.
We draw on the fabric a drawing of the "sun" with such a radius that the smell of the skirt is 12 - 15 cm.
When the drawing is ready, we cut out a notch, and we cut off the fold of the skirt with pins so as not to move.
Then, shorten the fold to the right of the notch to the minimum length and draw one quarter of the "sun" with a shortened cut.
We cut out the half of the "sun", which is circled in Fig. 5 in red without unfolding the fold.
We bend the cut-off lunge of the half and draw a quarter of the “sun” with an elongated fold.
After this

We cut the skirt along the fold to the right of the notch, if you need a smell.

The top of the wrap skirt (photo 4) in both cases can be processed with a wide elastic band to match the fabric, just as it is done in shorts, after laying and sweeping the smell.
