Model of the dress "bat-new bow", suitable for slender and full figures. Does not require adjustment, since the increase in the chest is more than 8 cm.

For sewing, you can use almost all fabrics of the dress assortment: Calico to medium stretch stretch. Fine linen with the addition of artificial fibers, poplin and thin jeans without elastane performed well in such styles. In all these fabrics today, a small amount of synthetics is added, which prevents shrinkage and gives the fabrics the necessary “stability”.

When choosing a fabric, it should be borne in mind that some of them do not behave very well when sewing flared skirts. For example, chiffon, batiste, and staple will stretch under their own weight and, perhaps, after washing, the bottom of the skirt will have to be leveled again. Therefore, for fabrics that do not hold their shape, Tatyanka skirts are recommended (picture 3).

Fabric consumption for this dress is highly dependent on the style and length of the skirt.

Consider the calculation of consumption options for a fabric width of 140 cm.

For a dress with a Tatyanka skirt (picture 3):

shelf length + back length + Du + 10 cm for processing;

For dress with a skirt "sun" up to 50 cm long (picture 4):

shelf length + back length + 2D + notch diameter + 5 cm for processing

For a dress with a "sun" skirt longer than 50 cm, the calculation can only be approximate, since you need to know the exact length of the skirt (picture 5):

shelf length + back length + 3D + notch diameter

For a dress with a half-sun skirt, only an approximate calculation is also possible (Fig. 6). I start from a skirt length of 70 - 75 cm.

How to cut a new bow bat dress for beginners

We start, as always, by thinking about how we will process the neck.

These are far from all the materials for processing the neck, but let's stop there and continue talking about cutting.

As mentioned above, some fabrics are not very suitable for flared skirts. On the 3 drawing submitted cut dresses "bat-newlook" with a skirt-tatyanka. The fabric is folded in half face inward, the edges are aligned.

We make allowances for the seams ONLY along the shoulder seam and along the cuts of the connection of the facings of the neck-sprout. 1 cm is enough.

How to cut this dress with a sun skirt

1. Open dresses with a skirt "sun" up to 50 cm long You can see on 4 drawing.
2. The fabric is folded in half.
3. The allowances are the same.

5. Layoutand in this case it will look something like 5 drawing. That is, the fabric is NOT folded in half. Please note that the shelf and back can be cut along an oblique thread. Figure 5 shows both options: the shelf is laid obliquely, and the backrest, as usual, along the share.

And the last cutting option is a dress with a half-sun skirt (picture 6) - the best option dresses for full women and ladies with lush hips.

Cutting is performed on the fabric in a spread from the wrong side. First, the “semi-sun” is cut out, and then the shelf and back. For the front and back, the rest of the fabric can be folded in half.

1. Tailoring is very simple: we make a bodice, try it on, connect it with a skirt, beat off the length of the skirt from the floor and process the bottom.
