The price is affordable, but how to work with it? That is the question.

You can do without a binder, but it is quite difficult and troublesome.

do not forget to sew off a sample before starting work and check that the bobbin is full.

It is very important! It is advisable to sew samples during the sewing of one product as many times as you change the foot for the binder.

Even a very small shift of the binder or inlay can lead to an irreparable marriage!

It should be borne in mind that it is quite difficult to rip a slanting inlay without damaging the edged cut. And replacing the bobbin ALWAYS gives MARRIAGE.

As you will see in the video, you can use different stitches with piping.

An interesting feature of the edged seam is the zigzag - the more often it is, the stiffer the seam becomes. And the wider the zigzag, the stronger your edging seam.

So, with a certain setting, a simple edging can replace even soft regilin or fishing line! Try it, the effect is quite interesting!

Now about the whims of an unregulated tilter. It should also be remembered that the part of the binder that imitates the presser foot and presses the fabric against the feed dog of the machine (we usually call the feed dog “teeth”) is shorter than the regular presser foot and therefore does not work very well with the function of the presser foot.

This increases the likelihood of defects in places of even slight thickenings that fall under the edging, and decorative seams, even if your machine is in good order and works like a watch, can come out from under the edging with passes. You will notice this in the video.

Therefore, before embarking on a serious product, try to acquire a skill on samples and simple things.

And the last tip: buy inlay with a large margin, as it can take up to a meter of inlay to sew samples.
