Marking pockets when sewing trousers
Place your palm on the resulting line and thus check the length of the entrance to the pocket, while keeping in mind that the bartacks will make this length shorter by at least 2 см.
Perebeyte line entry into the pocket on the second PP and valances. Lay a white thread along the marking lines.
Back pocket (“frame” or “leaflet”) is marked with two parallel horizontal lines, the upper horizontal should be placed down from the waist cut of the RFP on 7 см.
The second, regardless of the size on 1 см below the first. Both lines must be parallel to the waist cut. Now about the verticals that limit the pocket in length.
The first vertical is at a distance 4 - 5 cm from the side cut. Measure the length of your pocket from it. 14 - 15 cm and put the second vertical.
Repeat the markings with white thread, using a laying stitch to keep the markings until the pockets are ready.
We continue to sew trousers with our own hands
After marking the pockets and transferring the tucks to the mirror parts of the PP and ZP. Darts and warehouses are ground, starting and ending the lines with bartacks, and, if necessary, an additional stitch is attached to the RFP, having previously swept over the connected sections. The seam of the dotachka is ironed out, the RFP is adjusted and the cuts of the seat, step, side are overcast. In other words, the waist and bottom remain unswept. In PP, only the “corner” is overcast over the pocket entry line (a fragment along the waist section and a fragment of the side seam - see Fig. 7).
Council. in trousers from natural linen or woolen fabric needs a lining. It is needed not so much for sliding, but for protecting the knees from stretching and maintaining the integrity of the “arrow”.
