The pattern of this boho jumpsuit has a feature - the fold from which the back side is formed.

To improve the fit of this summer jumpsuit, it is desirable to process the waist section with an elastic band or a drawstring. At the same time, the smell area is excluded from processing with an elastic band.

Pockets are located in the side seams, but experienced tailors can also make welt pockets on the trousers' PP.

Fabric consumption - two lengths of the shelf-PP plus 5 - 7 cm. Total, 280 - 290 cm.

What fabric to choose for sewing summer boho jumpsuit?

The most suitable can be considered linen and thin denim. A fairly thin and dense stretch fabric with low or medium stretch is also suitable.

Experienced tailors can make this jumpsuit out of raw silk. At the same time, you should not choose a suit fabric, a lighter dress is better.

How to cut a boho jumpsuit for summer

Open, in this case, the simplest operation (picture 2). But before cutting, you should clarify the length of the overalls, the length of the trousers from the waist and the length of the bodice.

The measurement of the length of the bodice, in this case, has its own characteristics. According to the figure, we measure from the waist to the waist in front and behind through the lateral point of the neck and similarly measure according to the patterns.

Growth correction is possible only at waist and knee level. The bottom can be slightly adjusted.

Now how to cut. For convenience, we fold the fabric across, place the patterns, focusing on the fractional direction indicated on the drawings.

The neckline, as mentioned earlier, is cut out according to the pattern of the raglan sleeve. But of course, the neck can also be processed with an oblique inlay.

Allowances for seams and notches, design features of overalls

Seam allowances - 1 - 1,2 cm. The exception is the neck. We do not add an allowance along the cut of the neck.

And for processing the bottom, 1,5 - 2 cm is enough.

For processing, we need a notch in the corner of the bodice and PP, indicated on 2 drawing.

A notch for attaching a belt and loops can be made already in the process of work.

And for ease of assembly - notches at the waist and knee.

Do not forget to mark on both shelves-PP the places where the elastic starts and ends. The fold of the warehouses is also desirable to outline.

If pockets are planned in the side seam, fold all 4 cuts of the side seams together, step back from the waist 7-8 cm and make a notch for the pocket.

How to sew a summer jumpsuit step by step on a pattern

1. WTO by type of trousers.
2. Process the belt.
3. Process the pockets, side and crotch seams, then the seat seam. Insert a belt into the left side seam at the waist when sewing.
4. Sew raglan sleeves along the middle seam.
5. Stitch sleeve.
6. Stitch the edge of the side, inserting a finished belt between the cuts of the right side. A "loop" is inserted between the slices of the left.
7. Sew strips of fabric under the elastic band.
8. Insert the elastic with a large margin, without fixing the ends. You may need to tighten the overalls with an elastic band only at the back and sides.
9. Run a sample.
10. Treat the neckline with a piping or bias tape
11. Process the bottom of the trousers and sleeves.
12. Sew on a button to hold the left side.
