As a rule, not many product processing units can frighten novice home couturiers with the complexity of sewing.

Among the "horror stories" for beginners, the slip fastener in blouses. And all because of the name.

In fact, the buckle is nothing more than a “fold” that covers the buttons and loops, which, in turn, are located on another “fold”.

The supantaya clasp is quite easy to perform, as it is performed on a one-piece allowance for the right shelf.

The most difficult thing is to correctly iron all its folds (folds).

And it is precisely in ironing that the processing of the bead with a slip fastener lies.

Before ironing, of course, the lines along which the fabric is folded must be marked.

So, you should start from the moment of cutting ...

Step by step instructions for beginners

When cutting out the fronts of a blouse with a hidden fastener, the cutter must add the correct allowances for the fastener and hem. At the same time, the allowances of the right shelf and the left one are different.

For the left shelf from a half skid (another frightening word that denotes the center line of the product in front and the front center line on the figure) ...

So, to the left shelf we add 1,5 cm from the half-skid for the clasp and 4 cm for the one-piece bead.

To the right shelf adds from a half-skid (see figure):

1,5 cm - the visible part of the fastener;

2,7 + 2,7 cm - invisible "inner" part of the fastener;

4 cm - selection.

sewing blousesAfter marking, one-piece selections that have the same width are duplicated, overcast and ironed on both shelves.

Then, on the right shelf, the remaining folds of the slip fastener are ironed.

After that, they are swept up and sewn off with a fixing line.

And the loops will fasten the two lower layers of the fabric of the slip fastener.

This fastener is suitable for both men's shirts and ladies' blouses.

The figure shows the "anatomy" of the upper side (for men it is the left side, for ladies it is the right side).

The photo shows a blouse made of acetate silk with a slip fastener.

It turns out that sewing is only one line.

In conclusion, it should be said that such a clasp is not made from transparent fabrics such as chiffon.
