Sewing difficulty level: easy. This hoodie is made on a stretch basis and is suitable only for thin girls and women of average build.

The set of patterns includes four patterns: back, shelf + hood, narrow sleeve and non-stop sleeve (Fig. 1). Cuffs are not included in the kit, as they are rectangles, and their width is arbitrary.

For sewing, only stretch fabrics should be used, starting with thin "dress" knitwear and ending with jersey-type wool knitwear.

Not too thick footer, velor stretch, velsoft and fleece are also suitable.

This hoodie model is easily sewn on an overlock knitted stitch. It can be recommended to beginner tailors, as both sleeves can be sewn in with the same knit stitch without tucking.

How to cut and sew a one-piece hoodie

Seam allowances can be omitted when cutting stretch fabrics. And the layout is very simple (Fig. 2).

Sewing is also very easy, as most of it is done with a knit stitch on an overlocker.

We start by grinding the darts on the hood with a narrow zigzag or simply laying the folds in their place. Folds can be swept crosswise or stabbed with tailor's pins.

Then, with an overlock knitted seam, we grind the seam of the hood, shoulder seams and sew the hood into the sprout. You can pre-sweep and / or sew in the hood with a narrow zigzag.

Thus, only the side seams remain unstitched. But first you need to stitch the sleeve. Both sleeve patterns in the kit are non-stop, and such sleeves are sewn in without tucking.

When the sleeves are stitched in, we grind the side seam and the seam of the sleeve continuously on the overlock.
