Custom made sweatshirt with raglan sleeves and thumb hole

Patterns are printed on the printer in full size for sizes from 40 to 52 or from 52 to 64 from one PDF file of a sweatshirt pattern.

Cutting features:

1. ✅ We start, as usual, by understanding what variation of the sweatshirt style we are interested in.
2. ✅ Then, choose the size by comparing the width of the pattern with the width of your favorite sweatshirt or bust and hips.
3. ✅ If you sew a sweatshirt with dovyaz cuffs, then it is better to use a pattern of a wide raglan sleeve. Without cuffs - a pattern of narrow raglan sleeves.
4. ✅ Of course, the length of the sleeve BEFORE CUTTING must be checked with the length of the sleeve of a similar product or measured according to the figure.
5. ✅ In this case, we measure the length of the sleeve from the lateral point of the neck through the shoulder point along the arm bent at the elbow directly along the elbow and up to the wrist (under the cuffs or a regular sleeve) or to the desired length (under the sleeve with a hole for the thumb).
6. ✅ Based on the obtained measurement Dr (sleeve length), we adjust the length of the raglan sleeve pattern - lengthen or shorten (Figure 2).
7. ✅ We check the width of the sleeve, we compare the width of the sleeve with the girths of the arm. The width of the narrow sleeve pattern should be compared with the girth of the wrist and the girth of the clenched fist.
8. ✅ When the size is selected and adjustments are made to the patterns, you can mark the hole for the thumb.
9. ✅ To do this, fold the sleeve pattern in half at the bottom and in half again. We retreat 1/4 of the sleeve width along the bottom from the cut of the front seam. Up from the point "1/4" - 7 - 10 cm, depending on the total Dr.
10. ✅ We make the hole in the form of an oval 4 by 2,5 cm. If necessary, the hole can be enlarged later.
