Cutting small and medium sizes

Let's start with cutting small and medium sizes, the shelf and back of which "pass" into the same width of the fabric (picture 2).

As you can see, everything is simple:

1. The fabric is folded in half, face inward, the edges are aligned.
2. The shelf and back are stacked "jack". At the same time, the semi-skid of the shelf is necessarily on the fold of the fabric.
3. The sleeve is placed arbitrarily. To save money and / or on fabric in a cage, the sleeve can be “along the oblique thread”.
4. Seam allowances:
   1. On the side, shoulder shelves-back - 1 cm.
   2. On the bottom 3,5 - 4 cm.
   3. Front and elbow sections of the sleeve - 1 cm.
   4. The bottom of the sleeve of the dress is 2,5 - 3 cm.
   5. Allowances are NOT ADDED to the sprout, neck and sleeve hem! Draw the pattern along these curved lines and cut it out beyond the stroke line.

How to sew a do-it-yourself trapezoid dress according to a pattern step by step for beginners

1. After sewing and ironing the tuck, overcast the shoulder and side sections. Iron them and grind.
2. After grinding, the allowances should be ironed out.
