When choosing a size, you should pay attention to the fact that the increase in free fit is zero. Therefore, it is possible to choose the exact size of the bodice only after the pattern is printed. But the size of the cup you need to know before buying.

In this case, the first two digits of the sizes (42 - 52) indicate all the sizes of the gradation of the patterns that you purchase. And the last number - 13, 14 or 15 - is the diameter of the cup, which you should measure according to your bra. The diameter here is the distance between the ends of the arcuate bone. The cup of each diameter is made in two volumes.

How to cut a sundress "Tatyanka" with cups

The cutting of the bodice is quite simple - the details are laid out in the most economical way, taking into account the allowances for the seams. It is better to make “cups” double, then we cut out 4 pieces of each part.

Seam allowances - 1 cm, except for the bottom of the bodice. We add 3-4 cm along the bottom in order to accurately determine the stitching line with the skirt on the fitting.

The Tatyanka skirt, as you well know, is a rectangle. Therefore, we cut out the skirt from what remains after cutting the bodice.

The tailoring is pretty simple.

First, we assemble the “cups” - we grind the “sides” with the “middles” (and with the “top”, if the “cup” is made of three parts), carefully iron the seams.

Then, we grind the upper cut of the “cup” and connect the outer and inner “layers” to each other.

We grind, weave and iron the seams of the bodice. We sew a cup, we overcast the seam of turning the turning.

We insert silicone or other "bones" into the reliefs of the bodice, and under the "cup" - an arc metal "bone".

We process the top of the bodice and we fasten the "lightning".

We carry out a fitting, on which we specify the degree of fit of the bodice and the line of attaching the skirt.

We connect the bodice and skirt, sew on the “zipper” and process the remaining fragment of the middle seam.

To prevent the “zipper” from breaking, at the waist and near the upper cut of the bodice, you can make secret air loops from a strong but thin braid.

In conclusion, we process the bottom of the skirt and sew on the attachment for the straps or the straps themselves, if they are provided.
