The choice of fabric for sewing is determined only by the time of year.

3. How to cut a sundress or robe with a lowered shoulder according to a simple ready-made pattern
Cutting is not difficult, but it has one feature - the fabric must be folded across (picture 2).
To simplify the processing of the bead, the selection pattern is applied end-to-end to the shelf pattern and cut out in one piece.
Seam allowances - 1 cm, with the exception of the armhole and neck - they are without allowances. At the bottom for a hem, add 2,5 - 3 cm.
On the 2 drawing, in addition to cutting, a duplication scheme is shown. The selection and facing are duplicated, as well as the allowance on the bottom. Doublerin is cut out without seam allowances.
We do not duplicate summer cotton and linen robes. No need to duplicate denim products.
Burlap pockets in most cases will be cut out of the lining fabric, which is why they are not shown on 2 drawing.
Details of welt pockets are rectangles.

The belt can be a strip of fabric with a length of 150 cm and a width in cutting:
Two finished widths + 2 cm
Having completed the cutting, mark the half-skid line and the edge of the side on both shelves (better with a thread than with chalk).
The markup must be preserved until the product is ready.
Notch the side cuts at waist level by folding all 4 side cuts together. Notch length 0,5 cm.
Notches at the waist level must also be made along the middle seam of the back.
These marks will serve as reference points when processing the side seams and the middle seam of the back.
Mark the pockets as in the pattern.
