A sample of this model is sewn from velvet on a knitted basis.

The model has a belt in which a wide (4 cm) elastic band is inserted, a fastener without a lock and buttons - a back-up.

There are three folds on each half of the trousers, and the cuffs are sewn with rubber thread, the distance between the lines is 1 cm.

In such harem pants you can "pack" any hips and legs, while the waist will be emphasized by a wide belt.

If desired, trousers can be worn on the hips, of course, in this case, you should choose a larger pattern.

The disadvantage of this model is the high flow rate: from 230 to 250 cmXNUMX.

The layout is very simple (see fig.). The fabric is folded in half, the edges are aligned and parallel to the edge of the cutting table.

Seam allowances are needed only if the bloomers will be sewn without using a knitted seam.

Allowances are added, almost like when cutting ordinary trousers: to the side, stepper, bow and bottom - 1 cm each, the seat allowance expands from 0,7 cm to 3 cm, and the waist is cut out beyond the stroke line.

In case you sew this model from stretch with a knitted seam, no allowances are needed and all the details are cut out for the stroke line of the patterns.

Pay attention to the fact that the large size pattern does not fit the width of the fabric and therefore the fragment that extends beyond the edge is cut out separately.

An allowance is added to this fragment (additional stitch) along the pattern cutting line.

Burlap can be cut from the same or different fabric.

Belt - a strip of fabric 10 cm wide.

The processing sequence is very simple.

Baste pleats with cross stitches.

Stitch the burlap and, if any, additional stitches to the RFP, overcast the seams (with a knitted seam “sew + overcast” - one operation).

Iron the allowances.

Stitch side and step cuts, overcast and iron.

Attention: the side seam starts from a horizontal section (see picture), runs along the edge of the burlap and along the side seam to the green "cross".

The sections of the bow and the seat are overcast and ironed.

The cuffs are ground, the seams are overcast and ironed.

Then the cuff is stitched to the bottom of the trousers.

Previously, the bottom can be assembled on a “weak line”.

The stitching seam is also overcast and ironed up.

Already stitched cuffs are sewn with rubber thread, which is wound on a bobbin.

The distance between the lines is 1 cm. It is better to start from the top of the cuff, and the bottom of the cuff can be “hemmed” with the last bottom line.

Now the belt. Attention: the technology given here is only suitable for products made of stretch.

Cut the belt tape into two equal parts (across), iron along, turn the ends on one side and, putting a wide (4 cm) elastic band into them, sweep the workpieces, grabbing the elastic band, with large oblique stitches.

Baste the halves of the belt to the halves of the trousers, check the correct basting and stitch them. Press the stitching seam down.

Please note that the halves of the belt should be basted so that the turned ends are on the side of the bow and, if necessary, leave a margin for the buckle.

Overcast and ironed sections should be swept from the beginning of the rounding of the bow to the top of the seam of the belt.

Of course, in this case, seam allowances must be taken into account: the allowance for the seat increases from 0,7 to 3 cm. The belt should be swept especially carefully.

Trying as such is not required, but you can clarify the position of the buckle and the tightening of the elastic band.

Sew on a buckle, as required by its design and an air loop for the left (lower) end of the belt so that it does not hang out.

Fasten the elastic with vertical stitches so that it does not ride inside the belt. Ready!
