Fabric consumption is equal to Di (product length) plus 10 cm for processing the bottom and waist section.

From corrugated fabric or coupon, the consumption is calculated according to the width of the trousers and is equal to two widths plus 2-3 cm.

Attention! Pokit is better to fall the corrugation with a ready-made paper (or made of other material) pattern, since it is better to determine the consumption of corrugated fabrics by laying the pattern of trousers on the fabric.

Any thin fabrics from stretch to silk are suitable for sewing, but the technology of sewing and cutting will be different.

How to sew summer trousers, capris, bermudas or shorts according to this pattern with your own hands

This pattern is from a series for sewing clothes with your own hands at home. conditions for novice tailors. Therefore, cutting and sewing will be very simple.

1. Having made patterns according to an electronic pattern, decide on the length of the product.
2. Bend or cut off excess.
3. If you are ready, first we will consider cutting from the corrugated fabric that has been popular for the second season and the “ever-living” coupon (picture 2).
4. Fold the fabric in half along the cross thread so that the coupon pattern, if it is a coupon, is located across the trousers. And if it is a corrugated fabric, then the stripes should be located along the trousers.
5. Pay attention to the fact that the corrugation cannot be strongly stretched when cutting and that both halves of the trousers are stretched equally for cutting. Otherwise, one leg will look wider than the other.
6. Add to process a one-piece belt - 5 - 10 cm, as shown in 2 drawing, on the bottom - depending on the processing method.
7. When cutting pleated trousers, please note that the edges of the fabric near the hem can be stretched, so you should step back from the edge.
8. The same applies to the coupon - the edge can be quite wide.
9. From ordinary fabric (thin silk, crepe chiffon, chintz, viscose, etc.), it is even easier to cut trousers (picture 3).
10. Fold the fabric in half, matching the edges, add allowances for processing the cut of the waist and bottom.
11. You can put a warehouse on the waist, but at the same time, if you want the trousers to be elastic, keep in mind that your hips must go into this reduced volume.
12. Therefore, for the option with a fold, you can choose a larger size.
13. The tailoring of these trousers is similar to the tailoring skirts with elastic, the only difference is that the seams are not 1 - 2, but four.
