Electronic patterns of small and large life-size skirts - trousers in the style of boho.

3. What to sew a skirt from - boho style trousers, fabric consumption

It is advisable to sew this style only from thin fabrics, otherwise the product will turn out to be very heavy.

Chintz, thin linen, poplin, thin denim, cotton satin are ideal.

Combined skirt-trousers will also look good.

For example, the yoke is made of thick denim, and the bottom is made of chiffon, staple or cambric.

Consumption from 240 to 350 cm with a width of 140 cm.

To accurately calculate the consumption, perform a preliminary layout of the finished patterns of your size on any piece of fabric.

5. Features of cutting a skirt - trousers with your own hands according to a finished pattern of large and small sizes

Cutting does not promise any difficulties, but, as usual, you need to clearly understand what processing is to be done and what you expect to receive as a finished product.

5.1 Seam allowances for cutting

Seam allowances - 1 cm. We do not add an allowance only along the upper cut of the coquettes.

For processing the bottom - 2,5 - 5 cm. The smaller one - for a hem with an open cut - overcast and fold once, the larger one - for a hem with a closed cut - double hem. In the second case, the width of the hem may be different, depending on the fabric. For example, we fold batiste and chiffon with a Moscow seam, and for chintz, linen and thin jeans, a wide hem is better.

Pay attention to the shared thread in the coquettes (drawings 2 - 3).

For a better fit, all cuts of the PP yoke should be "oblique".

As for the RFP, it can be cut as shown in the photo - one-piece, laying the pattern on the fold of the fabric (picture 2). But it is better to cut with a seam and lay the pattern on the fabric so that all the cuts are “oblique” (picture 3).

For the convenience of fitting to the figure and a more precise fit, it is better to cut the ZP yoke with an average seam.

Shared burlap-turning - parallel to the cut of the entrance to the pocket.

Shared codpiece-slope - along the part.

If the trouser skirt is made of thin fabrics, then the coquettes should be double.

5.2 Cutting the belts and laying out the fabric

We cut the belt across.

Belt width in cutting = 2 widths in finished form + 2 cm

Belt length in cutting = Waist + 10 cm

On the 2 drawing shown cutting small and medium sizes - the fold of the fabric is parallel to the edges.

On the 3 drawing – cutting medium and large sizes – the fold of the fabric is perpendicular to the edges.

PP, more precisely, its large fragment under the yoke, can be cut for sewing with a pocket (Fig. 2) and for sewing without a pocket (picture 3).

After cutting, notches should be immediately made to limit the assembly area on the PP and PP. Along the cut to which the yoke will be sewn, we retreat 5-6 cm from the bow, seat, pocket entry line and side seam. We make notches.

6. How to sew a simple skirt step by step - trousers with a yoke with pockets at home

6.1 The sewing sequence is very simple

1. Collecting PP.
2. Collecting PO.
3. Lateral, step.
4. Clasp.
5. Belt.
6. Sample and fit.
7. Bottom.

In a word, we sew almost like classic jeans.

6.2 Explanations for each difficult item

Item 1-2.

The assembly of the lower part of the PP and ZP should be uneven. You marked the assembly area with notches immediately after cutting. The assembly should be compacted towards the middle and disappear towards the edges.

Item 4.

The codpiece and slope (fastener details) can be shortened or even lengthened, depending on the length of the zipper. Keep in mind that the greater the difference between the waist and hips, the longer the fastener should be.

In other words, the length of the unzipped zipper should be 4 - 6 cm longer than the difference between the waist and hips.

The length of the codpiece (for women, this is a part sewn to the right PP) and the slope should be 1-1,5 cm longer than the length of the closed zipper braid.

The fastener can be processed using a simplified technology.

Item 6.

Fitting. Consider the most convenient option when a yoke with a seam, since with a solid yoke, correction on the figure is very complicated.

So, ZP coquette with a seam. In this case, the belt is processed separately for the left RR and for the right RR.

The seam of the seat does not grind, as for classic men's trousers. This approach is convenient for fitting and very precise correction of the product on the figure.

This method is especially convenient for figures with strongly protruding buttocks and / or with a concave sacrum.
