Any fairly dense fabrics, both dress and costume, will do. It is desirable that the fabric stretches slightly.

For example, you can use jeans with elastane, and tight knitwear with little stretch.

The consumption of light fabric will be from 120 to 160 cm.

Dark consumption - 105 - 110 cm.

Calculations are made taking into account the total length. For cropped trousers, the consumption will be less, but it is better to shorten them when trying on, since tight cropped trousers do not suit everyone.

6. How to cut trousers with stripes according to the finished pattern

Allowances for side and step seams, partially a bow, an entrance to the pocket and along the seam of the yoke - 1 cm. The same 1 cm along all sections of the stripe, except for the bottom (picture 2).

On the bottom - 2,5 - 3 cm.

WE DO NOT ADD ALLOWANCES TO THE WAIST!!!

To the cut of the bow, add 3 - 3,5 cm to the clasp. Seat cut - expand from 0,7 to 3 cm - this is a margin. Along the cut of the coquette seat - the same 3 cm.

Separately about the pocket. Add 0,7 - 1 cm along the cuts of the entrance to the pocket on the PP and on the burlap piping. Along the side cut on the details of the burlap - the same 1 cm as on the other side cuts. But “around” the burlap, the allowance can be added or not added - at your discretion.

Now that everything is clear with the allowances, you can proceed to the layout and cutting (picture 2). To clearly understand which parts are dark and which are light, see drawing on photo 3.

Now about how to save.

If the RFP does not run across the width of the fabric, you can literally cut off from the pattern, what did not fit, and cut out this wedge separately. The same allowances are added to the wedge as to the RFP plus 2 cm along the cutting edge (picture 2).

Now about the shared thread for dark details. For stripes - fractional along the part. The belt can be cut both along and across. For a coquette, it is important that none of the cuts coincide with the share direction. For burlap-valance, share along the part arbitrarily.

Width of the belt in cutting = 2 widths of the belt in finished form + 2 cm.
