  2. Multi-format PDF file for printing on sheets of any size from A0 to A4 on a printer or plotter using Adobe Reader.

The difficulty level of sewing is simple, but not for beginners.

The pattern is designed specifically for sewing at home.

The style is suitable for all types of figures of various fullness and height - full and slender, small and tall.

  2. Shelf pattern.

  4. Collar patterns - on a cutting rack (with a rack), turn-down (without a rack)
  5. Patterns of facings for processing the bottom of a blouse.

Cuff patterns are not included as they are rectangles. How to calculate their sizes and how to cut is described below.

3. Description of the design of the blouse pattern

pattern of women's kimono shirt two shelves photo 3This model is made on the base with a one-piece sleeve without a bust tuck. The sleeve is slightly tapered towards the bottom.

The bottom of the blouse has a length difference, while the shelf in front is quite short.

The second (lower) shelf does not have a sleeve. The clasp on it is purely decorative, so you can limit yourself to imitation of the clasp.

Facing for processing the cutout on the shelf under the collar is not required, since the bottom shelf acts as a facing here.

The back of the blouse can be supplemented with a slot, which is easier to make like a pleat. This is called a "stitch" and is commonly used for jackets and jackets.

The width (allowance) of the slots can be adjusted, depending on the processing you choose.

4. How to sew a women's shirt with a one-piece sleeve and a double front at home

Fabric consumption with a width of 150 cm will be from 169 cm to 210 cm, depending on the size.

For a more accurate calculation, perform a preliminary layout of the patterns BEFORE BUYING fabric.

The choice of fabric for sewing such models is quite large, but you should choose, first of all, from shirt fabrics.

Of course, thin linen, and dress chintz, and thin denim, as well as dress cotton satin and poplin, like silk and cotton, will do.

Do not neglect also marquisette, cambric, muslin.

What about a staple? You can also use a staple.

6. How to cut a blouse-shirt according to a finished pattern

How to cut a women's shirt, kimono blouse, two shelves according to a finished pattern, Figure 2Cutting is not difficultpicture 2), but before cutting it is important to consider the nuances of further processing of the product and measure the desired sleeve length.

We measure from the side point of the neck through the shoulder point along the bent elbow to the desired length. After that, do not forget to take away the width of the cuff in finished form.

Consider seam allowances.

Shoulder, side, middle back seam - 1 cm.

At the bottom of the lower shelf - 2,5 - 3 cm, depending on the processing (picture 2).

The neck allowance is not added. We do not add along the bottom of the blouse, along the bottom and the detachable cut of the facings.

It is better to cut out the collar and cuffs later - after processing the shoulder and side sections. Preferably after the fitting.

To avoid annoying mistakes, choose the size of the collar and the length of the cuffs by the product, and not by the figure or measure.

7. How to sew a women's kimono shirt with a double front

  1. We start by processing the middle seam of the back and slots. The simplest option is to process slots as a one-sided fold that imitates a fastener. Experienced tailors can process an open vent, as in a straight skirt.
  2. Pay attention to the choice of the method of processing the seams between the sewing (linen seam), sewing followed by overcasting or sewing followed by edging. Processing is desirable to choose based on the properties of the fabric.
  3. On the lower shelf, an opposite fold is processed, imitating the fastener and the bottom. The cut of the "armhole" can simply be overcast.
  4. Next, you can sweep the blouse and try on. On the fitting, in addition to specifying the length of the sleeve, you can specify the shape of the neck.
  5. Overstitch the triangular cutout under the neckline of the front, using the bottom front as a backstitch. The neck remains unfinished.
  6. Shoulder seams are best processed with a sewing or double seam, after connecting the shoulder seams of the shelves.
  7. After the shoulders, you can cut out the collar and cuffs. The length of the cuffs is along the length of the bottom of the sleeve, and the width = twice the width of the cuffs in finished form + 2 cm.
  8. Process the cuffs - iron them in half lengthwise and sew them along the bottom of the sleeves.
  9. To process the side seams: first we sew a fragment of the side seam of the lower shelf to the shelf, then we grind it with the back.
  10. Process the collar and sew into the neck.
  11. Process the bottom with stitches.
  12. Loop collar and buttons.
