Patterns of the belt and belt loops are not included in the set of patterns, as they are rectangles, strips of fabric. How to calculate the size of these parts is described below.
2.2. Description of the design of women's palazzo trousers
This pattern of voluminous pants is made in a classic style - two soft folds on the PP and Hungarian pockets with a straight entry line.
The side cut lines are slightly concave, which makes it possible to avoid the visible tightness of the side seams and the “bulge” of the silhouette, which is typical for trousers with perfectly straight lines. In addition, this design allows you to sew pants made of rigid synthetic fabrics that are difficult to wet heat treatment.
3. What to sew trousers from, fabric consumption and how to buy a pattern
3.1. What to sew women's palazzo trousers for summer and winter and how to calculate fabric consumption
Summer variations of palazzo trousers can be made from almost any stable fabric suitable for summer.
For example, linen and dress silk are suitable, as well as any cotton and synthetic fabrics of the dress assortment.
Pants for winter can be sewn from any suit fabric. Of course, it is preferable to use costume wool.
Separately, it should be said about denim. We sew summer denim palazzo trousers from thin denim, and winter from heavy and dense.

4. How to cut palazzo trousers according to a pattern for summer and winter
Cutting is very simple - the main thing is that the direction of the shared thread coincides with the ironing line ( picture 2).
When tailoring trousers individually, cutting is divided into two stages:
- PP and ZP are cut out.
- Pocket details, belt and loops. Experienced tailors can also add details for the back pocket.
Let's take a closer look at the seam allowances: add 1 cm to the side and crotch seams; on the bottom - 2,5 - 3 cm; at the waist - do not add; for a bow - 0,7 - 1 cm and a "protrusion" of 3 cm for a classic fastener with a zipper; for the seat - the seam allowance expands from 0,7 to 3 cm; along the cut of the entrance to the pocket - 0,5 - 1 cm on the PP and on the burlap facing; the remaining sections of burlap - you can add 1 cm.
You will need two parts for the belt to make a classic fitting with a seam fit for the seat and make it easier to process.
The dimensions of the belt are calculated as follows:
Belt width in cutting \u2d finished width + XNUMX cm
The length of the belt in the cutting \u10d St (half circumference of the waist) + XNUMX cm
The width of the strip for belt loops in cutting is 2,5 - 4 cm, depending on the desired width in finished form. The length depends on the number of loops, but it is better to do it with a margin.
How to cut a trouser fastener is shown in 2 drawing.
The buckle allowance is a rectangle with one rounded corner. For further instructions on processing the fastener, see the tutorial by this link...
5. How to sew classic palazzo trousers at home
A few links to training articles on the technology of sewing trousers for beginners:
Sewing sequence for classic palazzo trousers no different from sewing men's and women's dress pants.
Particular attention should be paid to WTO - Wet-Heat Treated Trousers - watch the video master class.
But sewing pockets of a cutting barrel is not difficult - see how to sew side pockets for palazzo trousers.
Experienced home couturiers can perform Welt pockets "frame" on the RFP trousers, which also corresponds to the classics.
I will also give a simplified version of the classic zipper for trousers - video on the example of processing a male fastener.
If you need to simplify the sewing of trousers, then a belt like a denim belt will do:
See how to sew a belt and try on trousers
We recommend inserting a wide (about 2 - 2,5 cm wide) elastic into the back of the belt - hem it on the wrong side of the belt and fasten it with a large zigzag.
That is, we process the usual “denim belt, for the left and right halves (trouser legs) of the trousers, we fasten the elastic band inside the belt in the RFP area, “grabbing” its ends with a line. The elastic band should tighten by 3 - 5 cm, no more, i.e., by the size of the RFP tuck. And we finish processing the gum, fastening it with the belt (both “layers”) in zigzags across the entire width of the gum.
Then, a trouser fitting with a correction along the seam of the seat, as is done in trousers that are sewn individually.
For winter trousers, the bottom should be processed with trouser tape.
The braid is also appropriate for summer trousers made from denim or other fairly “heavy” cotton fabric.
