Since the skirt is sewn from two rectangular strips of fabric and a wide elastic band, the skirt pattern is not included in the kit, but the description of cutting and sewing the skirt is discussed below.

Let's start by cutting out a cape with a hood (Fig. 2). By the way, it can be used in other carnival costumes.

Please note that the hood pattern is given in three sizes: for a smooth hairstyle, for a medium volume hairstyle and for a lush hairstyle.
If the hood will not be worn on the head, but will only play the role of a collar, choose the smallest one.
The consumption of fabric for a cape with a double hood will be up to 1,2 m of red wool (gabardine, satin, chintz, short red fur) with a width of 1,4 m.
If the hood is a single flow rate of 80 cm.
It is not necessary to add seam allowances. The cape is cut along the half-slip (Fig. 2).
Cutting the skirt is limited to cutting two strips of the desired width.
In the future, they are both sewn to a wide elastic band after processing one long cut with a seam in a hem, and after that a single “vertical” seam is processed.
Sewing a cape is more than simple.
It should only be said that the weight of the hood is very important in this model.
It should NOT be heavier than a cape.
Therefore, it is desirable that the edge of the hood be narrower than on the cape.
We cut the edge for the cape and hood according to the same patterns (Fig. 3).
When making patterns, it is important that the fur trim in the half-skid area is the same width as at the bottom of the hood.
For finishing, you can also use strips of fur or down sewn onto a braid, which are sold in fabric stores.
Skirt patterns
How to cut and sew a blouse for Little Red Riding Hood
Fabric consumption for a blouse with a width of 1,4 m is up to 1,2 m.
Any thin fabric is suitable for sewing - cambric, chiffon, thin silk (Fig. 4).
Cutting is done without seam allowances. Details are cut out beyond the stroke line of the patterns.
It is only necessary to determine whether the blouse will have a seam along the back or along the shelf.
The second option makes it possible to decorate the blouse with embroidered braid and make a seductive spread in the neckline.
Tailoring is also very simple: the main thing is to properly pull off the product in the area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe sprout and the neck.
For a New Year's costume, you can make a minimum screed.
In order to be able to adjust the screed, process the drawstring at a distance of 2 - 3 cm from the neck-sprout (Fig. 5).
A screed on the sleeves can be made by stitching them with a rubber thread.
Of course, if desired, you can decorate the neck and bottom of the sleeves with lace.
The cost for a corset will be 35 - 40 cm.
