Fur coat of Santa Claus is the most expensive New Year's costume. When choosing fabric and stock for sewing, consider the opportunity to save money and do not start buying fabrics without a clear definition of the desired length and without preliminary layout of the patterns.

The approximate consumption of the "top" fabric will be 3,5 - 4 m, with Di 135 cm, Pg 15 cm.

For tailoring we recommend velvet on a stable cotton base (stretch velvet is NOT SUITABLE!), short or long faux fur. Heavy satin, brocade or jacquard can also be used as a "top" fabric.

When choosing a size, consider the thickness of the insulation pad and what clothes the fur coat will be worn on. This is especially important for fur coats that will be worn on street holidays. As a rule, they are worn over outer winter clothing.

Fur coats used indoors are best sewn without an insulating pad. They are usually worn over a sweater, so we choose the size as for ordinary men's outerwear.
