The level of difficulty in sewing trousers without pockets is medium, and with pockets is professional. You will need experience in cutting and sewing regular trousers.

The style is suitable only for slender girls with narrow hips.

It is not worth learning to sew and cut women's trousers on your own from scratch at home on the model of Zuhair trousers. Pattern for beginners is not suitable.

The set of patterns of trousers includes (Fig. 1):

• patterns of the left PP with and without a pocket;
• patterns of the right PP with and without a pocket;
• pattern ZP;
• as well as patterns for burlap-valance, pocket burlap and pocket valance.

The belt pattern is not included with the kit, as the belt is a strip of fabric. Further in the description, read how to cut it.

For sewing these trousers, it is better to use thin, but rather dense elastic fabrics or dense thin knitwear with little stretch. For example, dress stretch jeans.

The consumption of fabric is calculated by the length of the RFP (see Fig. 2) and is up to 240 cm for full length trousers, depending on height. For cropped trousers, the consumption is reduced to about 200 cm.

Any style of trousers will require you to follow the direction of the shared thread when cutting, these trousers are no exception. So let's start with equity.

The share should coincide with the so-called trouser ironing line. For PP, this rule is observed very strictly, and the RFP can be deployed a couple of degrees.

Pocket - a regular cut-off barrel with a rounded pocket entry line.

Details "burlap-valance" and "burlap" can be cut both from the main fabric and from the lining. If you cut them from the lining, then only the “valance” detail needs to be cut out of the main fabric.

Strict observance of the shared thread is also necessary for the details of the valance or burlap valance. The fractional gaps must match the equity thread of the PP. And for burlap, compliance with share is not necessary.

Seam allowances (Fig. 2) can be called ordinary. This means that no allowance is added along the waist cut, 2 - 2,5 cm along the bottom, 1 to 3 cm along the seam (uneven) and the rest - 1 - 1,2 cm. The middle section of the upper cut of the PP remains, which falls on the departure part and signed on the drawing as “Warehouse. Stitch." In this area, add an allowance of 1 cm.

Please note that you can add or not add an allowance to the cut of the pocket entrance. But, if you decide to add, add on all the details where this cut is. On fig. 2 at the details of burlap and burlap-valance, allowances have been added along the cut of the entrance to the pocket and along the side seam, as well as to the details of the PP in the same areas.

A couple more important points.

The cut of Zuhair's trousers is asymmetrical, so we need the right PP and the left PP in a single copy; ZP - two parts, and burlap and valance burlap - 4 parts each. The pockets are the same.

Before cutting, it is also important to compare the width of the trousers at the bottom and the circumference of the customer's calf in order to ensure the right degree of fit.

Before cutting, it is also important to decide how you will process the waist section.

Three options are possible: a belt, as in ordinary trousers, turning and edging.

The traditional belt is a strip of fabric.

Belt width in cutting = 2 belt widths in finished form + 2 cm

Belt length in cutting = 1/2 St + 10 cm (for the transition part and stock)

The main question is where and what kind of fastener will be. Theoretically, the fastener can be made in any seam - in the bow seam, in the side seam or in the seat seam. It is more convenient to use an ordinary hidden zipper and stitch it, as is done when sewing a dress.

The worst option is the fastener in the seam of the seat. Due to the heavy load on this seam, the zipper will often break. Pockets will interfere in the side seams. Nothing will interfere in the seam of the zipper bow - this is the best possible option.

Having chosen the processing method, you can start cutting, and then sewing Zuhair's trousers.

When cutting, do not forget to put incisions that limit the soft folds of the PP and the tuck of the RFP, notches at the knee level, and also mark the lines of a large warehouse on the right PP, which forms the departure part. These lines are marked on the pattern with a dotted line, like the ironing line.

The sewing of this style essentially differs little from the sewing of other styles of women's trousers. And I strongly recommend that you follow the entire technological process, starting with the WTO and ending with the traditional fitting with a belt of two halves and correction along the seam of the seat.

You should start with the processing of soft folds, indicated in the drawing and drawings by hatching, and then perform the WTO of the trousers.

When the WTO is completed, it is possible to process a large warehouse on the right PP, which forms the flying part. You have already completed the small soft folds marked with hatching, so sew a large fold to the notches, turn it inside out, baste the seam and lay arbitrary soft folds on the inside of the flying part.

After that, sweep the top of the large stock on the right PP along the marking lines and process the pockets like a regular “barrel cut”.

Next, overcast and iron all sections, except for the waist and bottom, process the side and crotch seams. Iron them carefully. The seam of the bow-seat is grinded only at the point of curvature, the straight section of the bow will go under the zipper, and the straight section of the seat (where the allowance expands) will adjust the volume of the trousers during the fitting.

Now - a belt or facing, or edging of the waist section. Please note that in this case the seam of the seat on top is not stitched. You should actually end up with two separate trouser legs that are connected only at the zipper side and between the legs.

On the fitting, by buttoning the trousers, you can very accurately and easily adjust the seam of the seat and the volume of the product to a specific figure, as well as outline the place of fastening of the flying part.

After trying on, you will be left with the seam of the seat, the bottom, remove the basting of the right PP and finish ironing.
