5. How to cut a dress and a blouse in one pattern

Cut this model very simple (drawings 2 и 3).

Without allowances: sprout, neckline, armholes, hem, as well as flyaway sections of yokes and burlap pockets.

The remaining allowances, except for the bottom - 1 cm.

Pay attention to the details of the facings - allowances only along the shoulder sections and along the middle for turning the sprout.

On the bottom from 2,5 to 6 cm, depending on the choice of fabric. For relatively thick and / or dense when processing with an open cut (overcast and fold once), we take 2,5 - 3 cm. For thin fabrics with processing with a buried cut (double hem) we take from 4 to 6 cm.

After cutting, it is recommended to transfer the marking of all vertical lines marked on the drawing to the shelf, to perform notches.

Let's take a closer look at notches.

While the shelf is folded in half, we perform notches for the chest and waist.

While the back is folded in half, we also perform notches at the waist along the middle and side sections.

Then, fold the shelf with the back, aligning the side cuts so that the notches on the waist match. From the waist down - 5-7 cm and make the first notch for the pocket, apply burlap - make the second notch for the pocket.

6. How to sew a boho dress and blouse with your own hands at home

Tailoring is also not particularly difficult.

The only difficulty is to understand how to fold the fold on the shelf (Fig. 4).

The secret is - just align the lines of the half-skid.

Before starting sewing, you can sweep the product for fitting in order to check and, if necessary, correct the tuck for the chest in length and height, as well as cut armhole to shape.

Now the sewing sequence

1. Darts - stitch iron down.
2. Shoulder seams. The shoulder seams of the backrest can be processed with a double or linen seam, as well as a regular seam with ironing allowances. The shoulder seams of the facings are stitched and ironed. Pivot cuts overcast on an overlock or edged.
3. Treat the neck with turnings, while the shelf should be in an “unfolded” form, as in the upper fig. 4. The fold is folded after processing the neck, swept up and then a horizontal backtack is performed, which holds the "inside" of the fold and does not allow it to sag.
4. We sew burlap along the notches on the side seams, if pockets are provided.
5. We grind and weave or edging the side seams. We iron.
6. We process the sleeves.
7. We roll up the sleeves. Let me remind you that for a shirt sleeve, the hem is evenly distributed along the armhole. For a better fit, the middle point of the okolo, which we get by folding the sleeve in half, aligning the front and back sections, is combined with the shoulder point.
