The opening of the upper skirt is performed on the basis of "sun" - flare or "semi-sun" (Fig. 1).
Petticoats, as a rule, are cut out on the same basis, but are complemented by frills (Fig. 2 a) or flounces (Fig. 2 b) of various widths.
The ratio of the width of the frill or frill to the width of the flare in petticoats can be different, as well as the number of skirts themselves.
You can even sew two or three frills (flounces) to one skirt. In addition, shuttlecocks can be stitched without landing, as in fig. 2 b, or with a large fit (assembly).
The main thing is that everything “lower” does not look through the upper skirt.
Therefore, if your “top” is made of transparent or very thin fabric, and the “bottom” is made of rigid nylon, it is better to make two upper skirts of the same cut.
One from the "top" fabric, the other from the "bottom" fabric.
And, already under them, place skirts with frills or flounces.
One of the examples of cutting a petticoat with flounces is shown in fig. 3 (upper part) and fig. 4 (shuttlecock).
The bottom of the skirt should be cut off (see article "What is opikovka").
