There are several easy ways:

1. Drawstring skirts with a narrow elastic band (the elastic band is pulled through with a pin).
2. Drawstring skirt with a wide (2 - 5 cm) elastic band.
3. A skirt with a wide elastic band instead of a belt.
4. Elasticated skirt 1 cm wide, stitched in a zigzag pattern.
5. There are more complex methods when there are only fragments of the belt (side or back) on the elastic band, but they will be discussed in the “Combined Belt” material.

The opening of the upper skirt is performed on the basis of "sun" - flare or "semi-sun" (Fig. 1).

Petticoats, as a rule, are cut out on the same basis, but are complemented by frills (Fig. 2 a) or flounces (Fig. 2 b) of various widths.

The ratio of the width of the frill or frill to the width of the flare in petticoats can be different, as well as the number of skirts themselves.
