How to cut a flared dress with reliefs long with your own hands according to the finished pattern

Open this floor length long dress simple enough (picture 2).
The only rule is the need to observe the equity direction in detail. This is especially true for the middle parts of the shelf and back. When cutting the barrels, you can deviate a couple of degrees if necessary.

To avoid distortions when assembling the dress, do not forget to put notches on the waist - they are marked on the drawings.

When sewing stretch on an overlock, seam allowances are not required.

How to sew a flared dress to the floor at home

The easiest and fastest is sewing with a knitted seam on an overlock.

Knit stitch in no case should be confused with an overcasting seam, which is a sin for manufacturers of cheap clothes.

Since the fastener for stretch Dresses is not needed, then all the seams of the dress are ground on an overlock with a combination of notches to avoid skew.

The sewing sequence for this dress is as follows:

1. Stitch the middle seam of the back and reliefs, iron.
2. Stitch one of the shoulder seams and iron.
3. Cut out a transverse inlay 3,5 - 4 cm wide and iron in half.
4. Stitch the inlay to the neckline on the overlock so that no more than 0,3-0,5 cm protrudes when it is turned up. See the processing of the neck with an inlay in sewing stretch products (photo 2, fig. 3). Iron the inlay.
5. Overlock and iron the second seam.
6. Stitch the non-stop sleeve on the overlock, distributing it evenly along the armhole. Iron the seam.
7. Stitch the side and sleeve seam in one line, matching the notches. Iron the seam.
8. Opikoyte bottom or process it with a rolled seam.
9. The bottom of the sleeve can also be processed with a rolled seam or in a hem.
