The difficulty level of sewing is easy, but not for beginners.

For sewing, you will need a household overlock with the ability to adjust the knitted seam and a household sewing machine with the ability to adjust the zigzag. To process the bottom, it is not necessary to have a sewing machine, a double needle is enough.

The style is suitable for all types of figures of any fullness and height.

The pattern is designed for sewing at home on household sewing machines.

2. What patterns are included in the set of dress patterns

(picture 1)

1. Back patterns - back bodice left, back bodice right, back skirt ZP right, back skirt ZP left.
2. Shelf patterns - “whole” coquette of the shelf, left coquette of the shelf, right coquette of the shelf, bottom of the shelf “whole” of the PP skirt, bottom of the shelf is the flying part of the PP skirt with pleats.
3. Pattern of a narrow non-stop sleeve.
4. Pocket burlap for making a pocket in the side seam.

Turning patterns are not included in the kit, since the sides and the sprout (the neck of the back) are in most cases processed with an inlay. In some cases, facings can be cut out according to bodice patterns. The opening of the facings is discussed below.

A whole front of the bodice can be used to simplify the style.

3.1. Description of the design of the dress - trapeze on an asymmetrical yoke and a skirt with pleats

The pattern of this A-line dress style is made on a hybrid basis, which is suitable for both stretch and some stable fabrics.

The design of the base of the dress includes a reduced tuck for the bust. This design will improve the fit of the stretch dress on figures with large breasts.

The cut is asymmetrical. On the flank of the skirt three folds - middle counter, on the sides one-sided.

3.2. What to sew dresses from - a trapeze on an asymmetrical yoke

As mentioned above, stretch fabrics are ideal for sewing this style, and stable fabrics can be used under certain conditions.

Choose fairly thin fabrics with little stretch.

Of the stable ones, any not too heavy and soft dress fabrics will do.

When choosing, it is important to take into account the weight, since the skirt should not be too heavy.

Combined options are also possible - a stretch bodice, a dress wool bottom.

The total consumption with a width of 140 cm will be from 260 to 340 cm.

The expense for combined dresses is as follows.

For the bodice you will need from 100 to 110 cm, and for the skirt from 190 to 250 cm.

5. How to cut a dress - a trapeze on an asymmetrical yoke according to a finished pattern

Cutting is not difficult, but the need to cut, spreading the fabric in one layer, does not simplify the task.

Before cutting, it is desirable to understand how you will process the sides and neck.

For stretch fabrics, the easiest option, process the neck and sides of the bodice with a transverse trim

More complex - turning (picture 2).
But of course, the choice determines the fabric.

If we need facings, we cut them out of dublerin (for stretch, dublerin is stretch), without seam allowances (picture 2).

For cutting facings, you can use both patterns and cut details.

Let me remind you that we glue blanks from dubbing onto the fabric after cutting large parts or after trying them on, if neck correction is required.

The width of the facings is 3,5 - 4 cm. For the side of the flying part of the skirt, the width of the selection is the same - 3,5 - 4 cm. Just add them as an allowance (picture 3).

The layout of the dress patterns on the fabric is best done on the front side, all the inscriptions are visible. With this approach, there will be no confusion.

On the 4 drawing the layout for the combined dress is shown.

No seam allowance is needed for stretch.

Please note that you will need 4 burlap pockets.

After cutting, we mark the semi-skid (middle line of the shelf), since all the details of the shelf will be combined along it during the assembly process. It is better if the half-skid is marked with threads - a lining stitch.

The half-skid is followed by notches at the waist. To perform, it is worth folding all the details of the skirt, aligning the side sections. Notch length - 0,5 cm.

You can immediately make notches for the pocket - stepping back from the waist 5 - 6 cm.

On the sleeve we mark the highest point of the eye.

6. How to sew an asymmetrical A-line stretch dress

(the simplest option is considered)

1. We collect the bodice: we grind the shoulder and middle seam of the back on the overlock, iron it: we process the sprout and sides; we grind the side seams on the overlock and iron; we grind the sleeve on the overlock, iron it; we apply the highest point of the eyelet to the shoulder seam and, evenly distributing the fit, we sew or weave in the sleeve; we sweep the sides, aligning the lines of the half-skid.
2. We collect the skirt: we sweep and iron the folds; overcasting and ironing the selection of the flying part of the PP; we grind the middle seam of the RFP on the overlock; we sweep manually or on a typewriter the left side sections of the software; we sew burlap pockets and iron the seams; we grind the side seams of the skirt.
3. We connect the bodice and skirt.
4. We try on if the sleeve was swept in.
5. Bottom, finishing ironing.
