The set of patterns for a Tatyanka dress with a double bodice includes (Fig. 1):

patterns of the "top" bodice and shirt collar for the model shown in photo 1;

patterns of the "lower" bodice, which will fit all the styles listed in the description;

patterns of the "upper" bodice with a conditionally large neckline for the models shown in photos 2, 3 and 4.

Skirt patterns “tatyanka” is not included in the set of patterns, since “tatyanka” is a strip of fabric. How to cut it is described below.

The consumption is calculated for the "top" and "cover" ("bottom") separately and depends on the size of the bodice and the length of the skirt. Guipure consumption should be calculated on the border.

And the fabric should be calculated according to the formula:

Bodice length + 10 (25cm) + Skirt length

The style of this dress is suitable for slender figures of any height, as the length of the bodice is adjustable during fitting.

For sewing the dress shown in photo 1, organza + thick silk, poplin or thin jeans are suitable.

For sewing guipure and lace dresses, organza or mesh, stable guipure and wide lace can also be used. For the "case" (bottom) - dense silk or satin.

How to cut "Tatyanka dresses with a double bodice"

Let's start with the style in photo 1.

"Top" cut from organza. We fold the fabric in half and lay out the patterns of the bodice (Fig. 1). Pay attention to the notches that are shown on the pattern of the shelf - they correspond to the semi-skid, that is, the middle line of the shelf passing through the middle of the body (through the jugular cavity and navel).

The distance between the half-skid line and the edge of the side is 1,5 cm. This is important.

Allowances are added only along the side and shoulder sections - 1 cm each and along the waist of the bodice - 3 - 4 cm, in order to measure the desired length of the bodice according to the figure on the fitting.

Skirt "Tatyanka" - a strip of fabric, a rectangle from edge to edge.

Now let's move on to cutting the lower bodice and other parts made of dense fabric (Fig. 3).

Fold the fabric in half face to face, matching the edges. We draw edges and trim strips - two, if both sides are processed with them, or one, if you want to process only the right (upper) side of the fastener.

Plank width 3 - 3,5 cm, but not wider. Try to mark and cut very accurately.

We cut off the edges and strips (y) of the slats, and then lay out the details of the bodice and the collar, previously cut out of adhesive interlining or dublerin.

The allowances for the seams of the bodice are the same, along the upper cut - depending on the choice of processing. If you want to process the top cut into a hem with an open cut - an allowance of 1 cm, if you edging - an allowance is not needed.

Cutting models from mesh and lace or from guipure with a border (photo 2, 3) are performed somewhat differently (Fig. 4).

If the rapport is large, then the patterns are best done in a turn.

Lace and mesh are ground with a narrow zigzag overlay seam before cutting so that the lace is located in a certain place on the patterns. This method is simpler and more convenient than preliminary modeling for lace.

To properly position the lace or border, you can also mark the modeling line on the finished patterns of the “upper” bodice and on the lace (guipure). And then connect the mesh and lace or model the pattern.

The lower bodice of a lace dress, which is cut out of thick silk, poplin or satin, should not have a closure allowance, so cut a strip from the front along the notches, as shown in fig. 5a, or bend the pattern over them.

The back, if necessary, can be shortened - the cut line should be parallel to the top line (Fig. 5a).

Then, the patterns of the bodice are laid on the fabric, which is folded twice along the width of the layout, the edges are parallel (Fig. 5b).

It is not difficult to cut a dress with embroidery on the “top” bodice and “top” skirt (photo 4).

We cut out the “lower” parts as for the previous model (Fig. 5).

"Upper" details according to the pattern of the "upper" bodice with a cutout. The pattern of the shelf is best done in a turn, as in fig. 4. The shelf is laid on the embroidery, the back, if it is without embroidery - arbitrarily, the share is perpendicular to the cut of the waist. The skirt is a strip of fabric.
