This style is not ethnic, but only stylized as ethnic style.

For tailoring, use thin natural linen, chintz or cambric.

Fabric consumption depends on the size of the product and the method of processing and ranges from 1,3 m to 1,7 m.

Sewing and cutting of embroidered shirts, for all their simplicity, are subordinated to the method of embroidering on them.

As seen in fig. 1 the embroidered areas are stripes. Wide 11 - 13 and 13 - 16 cm, depending on the size.

The width of the bottom and sleeve trim is left to the discretion of the tailor.

This style is recommended to be cut with a middle seam along the back, since without it, in most cases, the consumption of fabric will increase and the blouse may seem baggy.

Deflection of the side seams and tucks for the chest are also not typical for women's patterns of folk clothes, but are present in this blouse.

I will add that the model in question can be sewn not only with embroidery, but also with embroidered braid, stitching, lace border or lace.

This pattern is also suitable for some blanks for embroidery with beads.

The layout of the vyshyvanka patterns is “jack”.

The sleeve is traditionally laid along the share.

It is not recommended to cut a sleeve along an oblique with such a form of “V” embroidery.

And, if you are going to arrange the embroidery in horizontal stripes, an oblique cut will help you save money.

When laying out, do not forget to take into account allowances for hooping (Fig. 2), otherwise you will have to finish the fabric flap.

Seam allowances are regular - 1 cm side-shoulder and vertical sleeves.

The middle seam is uneven - we make an indent along the middle line of 1 cm, the rest can be cut off during processing up to 1 cm.

Neck processing - turning preferably.

Please note that when sewing such a blouse, you should not use sewing seam, which we used in men's embroidered shirts.
