Included in the set of patterns cut-off dress in ethnic style includes (Fig. 1): patterns of the back and shelves with a selection, as well as patterns of a sleeve with two soft folds, a collar and a burlap pocket.
Cuff and skirt patterns are not included as they are rectangles. The length of the skirt can vary from mini to maxi.
The style of this dress is suitable for all types of slim and full figures. Including for figures that combine two sizes.
According to the same pattern, you can sew a blouse with a peplum (see photo below).
For sewing dresses in ethnic style, natural fabrics are traditionally used. The most suitable for this model will be linen or wool. Not too dense and not too heavy denim will also work. Of course, you can sew this dress without embroidery, for example, from dense, stable knitwear.
The consumption of fabric for a cut-off dress in ethnic style strongly depends on the length and fluffiness of the skirt.
The expense formula looks like this:
Cost for bodice + cost for skirt
A bodice with a collar and a sleeve, depending on the size, will require 120 - 160 cm with a fabric width of 140 cm.
Not wide skirt = Skirt length + 5 cm
Full skirt as photo = 2 skirt length + 10cm
Thus, the minimum consumption with a skirt to the floor will be 230 cm, and the maximum up to 4 meters of fabric.

Cutting and sewing a detachable dress in ethnic style
The most difficult thing in this style is to decide how long and fluffy the skirt should be.
When the decision is made, we proceed to cutting: the fabric is folded in half face to face, the edges are combined.
It is advisable to combine the shelf template with the selection template by gluing them end-to-end with adhesive tape. This is necessary in order to cut out a one-piece selection, the processing of which will only consist in ironing it along the line of the edge of the bead. Of course, if the selection will be cut out of a contrasting finishing fabric, such a combination is not necessary.
Regular seam allowances:
lateral-shoulder, vertical seams of the sleeve - 1 cm;
at the bottom of the shelf - at least 3 cm to try on;
along the neck, sprout, armhole and along the contour of the burlap - allowances are not added;
at the bottom of the sleeve, the allowance depends on the length, which is better to check before cutting;
on the departure of the collar - 0,7 cm, on the cut of the stitching - 1 cm.
Now we calculate the width and length of the rectangular cuff.
Cuff width = 2 finished widths + 2 cm for seams
Cuff length = Wrist circumference (not tight) + 4 cm for the transition part + 2 cm for allowances.
The width of the belt is calculated in the same way as the width of the cuff.
When laying out the details (Fig. 2), it is very important to observe the direction of the shared thread of the shelf, back and collar.
The lobar shelf goes along the line of the edge of the side, and the lobar back and collar - along the middle line of the back, that is, along the fold.
The sequence of cutting and sewing is the same as for "Tatyanka dresses with high cuffs"
The only difference is that both tucks and soft folds can be processed on the bodice. For processing warehouses, it is better to sweep it like a tuck to the end, and grind it like a regular warehouse.
Scuds on the skirt are laid in such a way that they are under the darts (folds of the bodice).
One of the frequently asked questions about cut-off dresses with a fastening on the bodice is where is the zipper? The zipper can be omitted, but in this case, at the waist level, the dress should be very loose so that the shoulders pass when put on.
If the dress is fitted, then for the zipper you will have to make a middle seam at the back. The clasp in this case may not reach the top - above the waist 12 - 15 cm and below the same.
But the most reasonable option would be to make a zipper in the side seam, and move the pockets 5-7 cm forward, “placing” them in a tuck of arbitrary length.
