6. How to cut an embroidered dress according to a simple ready-made pattern

We start by choosing the size, checking the measurements for the chest and, if the dress is without a wedge, then for the hips.

Pay attention to the fact that vyshyvanka can be quite “tight”, that is, with a small increase in loose fitting (up to 4 cm) or very loose with a large increase (10-12 cm). It depends on your design and choice of fabric.

Let me remind you that the size figure is Cg (half-girth of the chest) with an increase in freedom.

Seam allowances are normal - 1 cm, but there are exceptions.

We do not add allowances on the armhole.

On the bottom of the skirt - 2,5 - 3 cm, on the top of the dress - 3 - 3,5 cm. The top of the bodice - depending on the processing. That is, you can not make an allowance for the upper cut of the dress at all, but sew on a wide oblique strip to process the drawstring. This is optional.

On the 2 drawing shows a variant of cutting a dress with a solid shelf without a fastener. This is a small layout.

It is worth mentioning separately about the cutting of the shelf and the allowances for processing the imitation of the fastener.

For example, the in figure 3 shows the cutting of the dress - large-sized embroidered shirts with a two-piece wedge and with an imitation of a fastener.

We calculate the allowance for half-drift as follows:

1/2 fastening width + 2 fastening width for hem =

1,5 cm + twice 3 cm = 7,5 cm.

The middle line of the shelf - semi-skidding - is the line that, with this calculation, will coincide when the shelves are connected by a fastener or its imitation.

Open, as you can see quite simple.

Explanation requires only that the wedges in the figures 3 и 4 fit on the fold of the fabric in the middle line. Or, first we cut out the shelf - the back, and then spread the fabric in one layer and cut out the wedges and sleeves.
