Belt pattern and how to sew a belt with your own hands in lessons for beginners

As mentioned above, we start processing the belt when the fastener is ready.

In addition to the two parts (halves) of the belt, we need a corsage ribbon, ready-made belt loops and, if the trousers are sewn on a figure with a protruding belly, a loop for the peg.

So, the cut out details of the belt should be duplicated with a special adhesive tape (tape) for the belt or with an ordinary doubler.

The width of the dubbing, in this case, should be 2 cm narrower than the part of the belt (Fig. 29).

That is, dubbing should deviate from the long sections of the belt by 1 cm. This is necessary in order to iron one of the allowances.

Processing the cut of the waist of a skirt or trousers with a facing

The method is equally suitable for skirts and trousers.

We start with the manufacture of a turning pattern for a waist cut.

Note: if you plan to adjust the skirt only along the middle seam of the RFP, the piping pattern can be made before fitting.

To do this, the upper part of the PP and ZP patterns are copied onto a separate sheet of paper (Fig. 1a). The optimal width of the facing - 4 - 4,5 cm

This belt processing technology is applicable only to individual tailoring.

Of course, "denim" is a conventional name.
