The level of difficulty of sewing is simple, but skills in sewing from knitted fabrics will be needed.

You will also need an overlocker with the ability to adjust the knit stitch, a sewing machine with adjustable zigzag width and a double needle or other alternative to the cover stitch, if you do not have a cover stitch, to work the bottom of the trousers.

The style is suitable for both full and slender figures of any height.

3. How to cut women's sports trousers with reliefs according to the finished pattern

Before cutting, as usual, we check the length of the product.

Seam allowances - 0,5 - 0,7 cm. At the bottom - 2,5 cm. Do not add at the waist.

Belt width in cutting = 2 widths in finished form + 2 cm

Belt length in cutting = hip circumference + 4 cm

or

Length of a belt in cutting = Length of a waist section of trousers

Cutting is not difficult - the fabric is folded in half and the parts are laid out in the most economical way with approximate observance of the shared direction. In this case, exact compliance with the equity is not required.

On the 2 drawing an approximate layout of small sizes on a fabric 150 cm wide is given.

On the 3 drawing - large layout on the footer.

Lampas, if it is cut out from a companion fabric, it is better to cut it out along the share, placing it along the edge. However, if you are a buyer of a companion fabric specifically for these trousers, the expense will turn out to be unreasonably large. Therefore, if we buy fabric for a stripe separately, we cut out the stripe across.

Please note that the lampas can be cut out like a regular strip and beveled after it is connected to the RFP.

4. How to sew sweatpants with a relief and a pocket

Let's look at processing in general first.

As mentioned above, for sewing you will need knit stitch and zigzag, which can be adjusted in width.

Lampas can be sewn on an overlock to the RFP and PP or adjusted.

If the stripe is from a companion fabric, it is folded with the RF and PP face to face and sewn with a knitted seam.

But, if the stripe is made of braid, you need to put it on the RFP and PP and stitch it in a zigzag, while keeping in mind that you may have to change the width of the RFP if the stripe is wider or narrower than its pattern.

Now the sewing sequence.

1. Stitch relief seam PP. If a zipper is provided, then stitch it with a narrow zigzag and stitch the zipper. If without a zipper, then stitch the seam on the overlock with a knitted seam. Iron.
2. Sew or stitch the lampas on the RFP. We grind - on an overlock, and we tune - with a "big" zigzag. Press or iron the seam.
3. Stitch the yoke to the RFP on the overlock, iron the seam down.
4. Stitch the burlap of the pockets to the PP and ZP along the lines of the entrance to the pocket. Before stitching, it is worth folding all the sections that will be processed in this operation and performing notches. Notches are needed so that the pockets do not warp during the assembly process. The notches should limit the entry into the pocket without taking into account seam allowances. Pay attention to the fact that the upper cut of the burlap should go under the belt, that is, coincide with the cut of the waist. Iron the stitched burlap and fasten it with stitches without going beyond the borders of the pocket entrance.
5. Then, stitch the burlap in a narrow zigzag and overcast with an overlocker. By extending this seam, it is possible to connect the lampas (ZP) with the PP. If the stripe is adjusted, then overcast only the PP, and stitch the lampas. Iron pockets and seam.
6. We grind the seams of the bow and the seat on an overlock, but if special strength is needed, then the seat can be strengthened with a narrow zigzag. Iron the seams.
7. Step seams are sewn with one line on the overlock with a knitted seam. Iron the seams.
8. The belt processing option described here is much simpler than what is shown in the photo. We iron the blank of the belt along. For a drawstring with a lace, it is easier to make ordinary loops or insert accessories into the belt for pulling laces - eyelets. Then, the belt is ground into a “ring” and in this line we leave holes for pulling the elastic. For the lace is already there. We iron the seam.
9. The belt is sewn to the cut of the waist on the overlock. First, it should be chopped off with pins to distribute evenly. We iron the seam and pull in the elastic bands.
10. Bottom - in a hem with an open cut - overcast and fold once and secure with a line. You can replace this hem with a matching machine stitch or twin needle stitch. Iron.
