The set of patterns for a dress with a Tatyanka skirt and with an open back includes patterns for several variations of styles (Fig. 1):

The back of the bodice is one-piece and the back of the bodice consists of two fragments,

one-piece bodice shelf and a shelf with a yoke,

as well as a sleeve on the floor of the armhole and

stand collar.

One-piece back and front patterns are designed for dresses that are black in the photo, and “composite” ones are for those that are white and gray in the photo.

The skirt pattern is not included in the kit, since "tatyanka" is a strip of fabric, a rectangle.

All patterns are made without seam allowances.

The consumption of fabric depends on the length and splendor of the skirt, as well as on the method of processing - whether it will be facings or a double bodice.

Approximate consumption for a skirt 1 or 2 lengths + 5 cm for alignment and processing.

The cost of the bodice for a black dress = 1 shelf length + 7 cm,

if the bodice will be double consumption = two lengths of the bodice + 15 cm.

The consumption for the gray bodice of the fabric, excluding the coquette of the shelf and the upper part of the back, is 40 - 45 cm.

The approximate consumption of lace fabric for a white dress should be determined by the lace border.

So for the bodice, the lace border will need about 150 cm, but the consumption may increase if the rapport length is more than 10 cm.

Almost any stable dress fabric is suitable for sewing dresses with an open back.

But the style is suitable only for young slender girls with small breasts and good posture.

Not recommended for girls with a lush bust, stooped back or protruding shoulder blades.

Cutting and sewing a dress with a Tatyanka skirt and an open back

Let's start with black dresses (see photo in Fig. 2).

Since double bodice processing is recommended, please note that the location of the share in the "lower" (purl) back does not match the share of the "upper" back.

For the “upper” back, the share can be arbitrary, while for the “lower” it is desirable to share along the cutout line.

The shelf, as usual, is laid with a semi-skid (middle line) on the fold of the fabric, the upper collar is across, and the lower one is oblique.

Seam allowances can be made 1 cm long and already in the process of sewing, cut and notch the seam allowances.

You can add a large allowance to the bottom of the bodice - up to 4 cm, in order to clarify its length when trying on, but if the dress is with a wide belt, then such an allowance is not necessary.

An approximate layout of a double bodice is shown in fig. 2. As for a black dress with a lace top, it is recommended to cut out the lower bodice from a contrasting satin.

White and gray dresses (see photo in Fig. 3) are cut out according to the same principles and can be sewn both with a double and with a partially double bodice.

If necessary, you can add a margin along the side seam of the shelf, increasing the allowance to 2,5-3 cm.

The “lower” yoke can be cut out in a spread and obliquely.
