The difficulty level of sewing this model is high if sewn without lining and professional if sewn with lining.

This pattern is not suitable for beginners, as you will have to make folds on the back, turn the sides of complex shapes and make a collar. This, not to mention the difficulties of stitching in the sleeves and processing the buttonhole.

The set of patterns includes (Fig. 1): the middle and side patterns of the back, the middle and side patterns of the shelf, a classic sleeve, consisting of two halves and a collar pattern.

For tailoring, you should choose not too thick and soft woolen suit fabrics that can take complex shapes of female curves.

Jacquard is also suitable. The sample is sewn from jacquard fabric with a large rapport.

Cut and sew a jacket on one button

As mentioned above, this jacket model can be sewn with or without lining.

You can also do without the storage on the back, which come out of the undercut. On the patterns, a line of the middle seam is given, along which you should navigate if you do not need warehouses.

The shaded areas are the inner part of the folds (Fig. 2).

When copying patterns, do not forget to copy the half-skid and waist lines, and also transfer them to the cut details.

It is these constructive lines on the fitting that will help you determine the balance of the product and correctly mark out a single loop.

Seam allowances are normal.

Shoulder, side cuts of the back, reliefs, undercut of the back, cuts of the collars (top, bottom and cuts of the bottom collar), front and elbow cuts of the sleeve - 1 cm each.

The side and shoulder cut of the shelf is 2 - 3 cm, since the stock is taken into account.

The edge of the bead is 0,7 - 1 cm. The neckline, sprout, sleeve collar, and armhole - beyond the stroke line, that is, without allowance.

The bottom of the jacket and the bottom of the sleeve 3 - 3,5 cm.

If you are sewing a product on a lining (Fig. 4), you must cut out the following duplicate parts: a shelf of the middle and side parts, barrels of the back with a length below the shoulder blades, but above the waist (cut with teeth), the middle part of the back - to the undercut, lower collar. Undercut dubbing is carried out immediately after cutting the details of the top according to the same patterns, but without seam allowances.

After trying on and clarifications, the upper collar and collar are cut out.

At the same time, the upper collar is cut out in one piece according to the detail of the lower collar with allowances, which was adjusted after trying on, and the collar is cut out according to the detail of the shelf with allowances (Fig. 5).

The width of the selection is arbitrary, and the outlines follow the contour of the shelf from the shoulder to the bottom. Ready-made dubbing of the lower collar and selection are glued onto the fabric in the same shared direction and cut out without additional allowances.

When cutting out the selection, you may be faced with the need to make an additional touch.

Remember that the seam of the stitching should not fall on the loop and should not be in the chest area.

And do not forget to duplicate the allowance on the bottom of the jacket and sleeves. This operation is necessary both in a product with a lining, and without it.

Undercut dubbing for an unlined jacket is much easier to do: only the hem and lower collar are duplicated.

The lining can be cut according to the same patterns or cut details. Of course, we take the unmodeled back.
