Difficulty level: easy. But this pattern for beginners is not quite suitable, as you have to tuck in the sleeve. The blouse can be sewn, both with pleats from the neck, and with an assembly along the neck, and even without a sleeve! See photo below.

For tailoring, it is desirable to use such thin fabrics as chiffon, crepe chifor or thin silk. The sample is sewn from artificial crepe chiffon.

Fabric consumption with a width of 140 cm will be from 125 cm (for size 42) to 160 cm (for size 62).

Cutting and sewing a blouse with folds from the neck

Seam allowances: side, shoulder, bottom, elbow and front sections of the sleeve, collar and cuff flyaway sections - 1 cm; sprout, neckline, sleeve hem, collar sewing cut and cuff sewing - for the pattern stroke line; the average seam of the blouse is from 1 cm (above) to 3 cm (at the bottom of the back). Focus on the midline, which is indicated in the pattern - it corresponds to the share direction of the back.

The layout is “jack” (Fig. 2). The fabric is folded in half face inward, the edges are aligned. Shared thread - along the details of the shelf, back, sleeve and collar. Cuffs and oblique trim, which is used to process the sleeve slot, are cut out along the oblique thread.

When the parts are cut, they remain folded in pairs face to face, warehouses or assembly are marked on them. On the sleeve, it is necessary to mark with notches the highest point of the collar of the sleeve and the borders of the assembly. On the shelf there is a semi-skid with a notch on the neck.

In addition, on the sleeves you need to make a cut under the slot (Fig. 3). It's simple: halve the distance between the center line of the sleeve and the back seam and make a cut 7-10 cm long from the division point.

If you do not want to fold, then assembly is not difficult. On the sleeve, the assembly area is limited (see “assembly marks” on the patterns), on the neck, the assembly should not reach the shoulder seam 5–6 cm. The assembly area can be marked with notches 0,5 cm long.

If you decide to make warehouses, then this is also not difficult. To calculate the sum of the values ​​of the warehouse, for example, on the sleeve (on the neck they are marked on the pattern), measure and compare the values ​​​​of the sum of the lengths of the armholes of the front and back with the length of the armhole of the sleeve.

If you take measurements not according to the patterns, but according to the details of the cut, they should be folded in pairs, and the shelf is folded in half along the half-slip, and seam allowances should not be taken into account.

Subtract the smaller values ​​from the larger value and divide the difference between warehouses. Approximate values ​​on the sleeve are 8 cm at the highest point of the oka and 4 cm on each half of the oka, of course, the warehouse at the highest point of the oka is opposite.

All warehouses are marked on the parts with notches 0,5 cm long.

Sewing a blouse is also not difficult.

Cover the folds with cross stitches, laying them along the notches.

Stitch and overcast the shoulder, side cuts, the middle cut of the back (to the level of the fastener) and the vertical cuts of the sleeve. If you overcast both cuts of one seam together, iron the seam towards the back. Separately overcast sections are ironed out. In any case, the middle seam of the back is only ironed out.

Surround the sleeve slot with bias tape. To simplify the task, the slot can be cut in the form of a drop. Also in the form of a drop, you can make a fastener for a blouse. For some fabrics, you will have to look for a special thin doubler to match. If the blouse is sewn from very thin silk or chiffon, the collar and cuffs can not be duplicated.

Fitting. We look at the place whether the shoulder sections are in place and whether the armhole line needs to be clarified. Sleeves are rolled in after fitting. Watch the video master class on knitting sleeves with assembly. A blouse with turned-in sleeves can be tried on again to ensure a good fit. The sleeves are sewn in with two lines, while the fabric needs to be slightly stretched. The distance between these two lines is 0,1 - 0,2 cm. It is not advisable to impose one line on top of the other.

The seam allowances are overedged together and a shoulder pad can be sewn on if desired. It is better to do this with threads to match the blouse and “on the hands”, “grabbing” the upper layers of the shoulder lining and the shoulder seam allowance. The stitches should be loose enough so that the overlay and shoulder seam do not warp.

Then the collar is sewn in and all sections are overcast at the same time. The ends of the seam are neatly fastened.

Air loops for fasteners, buttons, bottom - piping or hem with an open cut. Ready!

It remains only to say that as a collar for a blouse with an assembly (see photo below), a strip of fabric cut along an oblique was used, a frill - the same strip cut along an oblique.
